- So happy to play a part in reuniting Luke with his mum, it was quite emotional and I had only just met his mum. After speaking with the people who had seen him we parked up and set out to look, I spied something black out of the corner of my eye so we headed in that direction with Karen & her dog. Owner then phoned as she had arrived and Karen told her where we were. We walked around the estate and I heard the sound of claws and slowly glanced over my shoulder, I whispered to stop and slowly look, Lukes owner knealt down not looking at him and called softly but he was already going towards her. Fantastic result for all concerned :-)

- So happy right now and he isn't even my dog but fantastic!!! Yes we arrived just at the right moment as the rain stopped and a sighting came in. we dashed around found the people that saw him but no Luke. However his owner then arrived to meet us and we were wandering down the middle of the very quiet round, my dog running around sniffing and my friend said, don't look now but I think he is behind us, and there he was trotting along, his owner got down back to him and called gemtly and he ran up for a cudde! Amazing scene and so pleased for Karen.

- So glad 4legsarebetterthan2 can get out there to help. I may be local, but I'm completely useless at dog catching. I'm here for any PR help, but hopefully you'll get Luke before that's needed.

- Good Luck!

- I am local and I rang you earlier to get some advice about catching Luke. I am going up to meet the owner tonight about 8pm as its such a rubbish day he will probably hide away for most of it. We are taking bbq, scenting, fresh clothing, sausage and hopefully tripe. Unfortunatly I wasn't able to get up there last night to help but hopefully tonight will be Lukies last out on his own.

- Luke was seen last night at 9.45 on Holbrooke Drve/Lane on the Wall Hall estate. Flyers made up and emailed to owner.Last edited: 2012-04-18 12:06:17 by AlisonH

- Thanks Nik. I have passed on your comments to the owner. Luke was seen again last night but the owner lives 40 minutes away and by the time they arrived he was nowhere to be seen. If anyone is local and able to help please call the contact numbers above I know owner would be most grateful. Last edited: 2012-04-18 09:04:16 by AlisonH

- I don't know whether a trap is in order here, or indeed whether Hertsmere has one. Try DW Sarah on 020 8207 7435.

- Luke has been spotted today at midday in Wall Hall Lane but nobody was able to catch him. I have advised owners how to approach if they see him as they are over there now searching. Bumping due to sighting.Last edited: 2012-04-17 16:11:30 by AlisonH

- I have been out agian today. I have postered Bricket wood this time as Luke could've made it to this area in a few mins. Hopefully someone will know something.

- Just got back from another search, nothing. Owner has postered and bailiff has also done some posters but no sightings yet. LOTS of rabbit warrens that need checking, I have done a couple but the area is full of them and I think Luke took off after rabbits so definately worth checking as many as possible, if anyone else is going to search??

- I have been out yesterday with my dog and had a good look around. Passed on details to golfers and river bailiff who obviously knows area well. No sightings yet. The area is huge and Luke will have no clue where he is as he is not local so could have wandered further than usual as he will have no knowledge of area. I will go up there again today when I get a chance. I have also been into NAWT and put him in their 'lost book' so if he gets taken there they will already know about him. Fingers crossed this boy makes an appearance very soon.

- This is a big rural location with the M1 on one side. It is also very near where Mojo went missing some months ago. In addition to contacting the Hertsmere DW on 020 8207 2277, they should make contact with the mobile home site on the other site of the Radlett Road next to the M1. There are a lot of helpful settled travellers between the Hilton and Mercure hotels on the A41 and in Sandy Lane. The is also a HCC site in Sandy Lane.
