Update from Colleen: Thanks you every 1 for you lovely words ruby is ok a little under weight but soo happy she home... Just a little confused I think the people who had her have had her all along they say they bought her of somebody but to many things fit the cap she was found on prince street were the couple lived any info from around that area would help me prove it but going to ring police for advice .. But sooo happy she's home x x

YES AFTER 10 VERY LONG MONTHS, RUBY IS HOME!!!!

Just spoke to a very very happy owner. Colleen had a call a couple of hours ago to say someone had her dog and they were living within half a mile from where she was stolen. Posters are still up in the area and the family never gave up. Unfortunately her pups may never be traced but Ruby is absolutely fine and was bouncing all over the family when they went to get her. She will be having a trip to the vets tomorrow for a check up just to be sure.

Colleen I'm elated for you and your family, can't stop grinning so goodness knows how you feel lol. You never gave up and now your darling girl is back home...exactly where she belongs. Love from all at DogLost and stay safe now little girl. Into the BLUE you go xxxx

skippy, heard back from Rubys owner. They have been in touch with the Animal Wardens and sent them a photo of Ruby. The found dog was taken to Manchester Dogs Home so they will be going there tomorrow to check for themselves......finger crossed. Rubys owner says thank you very much for still looking out for her x

UPDATE: we didn't broadcast it at the time for obvious reasons but Ruby's pups were due on the 26th April, making them around 3 weeks old. Please can anyone in the area look out for people advertising pups for sale, thank you.

It is thought that Ruby is with someone in the Newhey, Shaw area. If anyone is able to put up a poster or two in the area it would be a great help and very much appreciated.

Just received info of a possible sighting of Ruby on Thursday 12th. Have made owners aware.

Thanks lannyloo :) Sadly they don't think the found dog in M24 is Ruby as it is described as a very young dog (possibly 6 months) and wearing a black collar and Ruby didn't have one on.

The family are doing a great job, posters are up, spreading the news and they have been visiting Manchester Dogs Home nearly every day.
