Knuckles was found in Cheshire Dog's Home, he is now CHIPPED and NEUTERED (not sure if already but has to go back to get the snip). His owners are over the moon to get him back. Welcome home Knuckles sending you lots of hugs and cuddles from everyone on DL.

Visited Halewood RSPCA today and didn't see any staffies matching Knuckles but they have a lot in there. x

I agree Jan, I think the whole situation of rescue dogs is sad especially staffies sometimes I think I'd rather not know
I go through gumtree and send emails to people trying to rehome dogs (especially staffys) asking them to be careful who they are rehomed to and it's so depressing to see- in the last hour 7 pages of dogs/puppies for sale on gumtree alone...says it all?
so many will end dumped in the pound

Thanks emmalouise for posting and looking out for him, greatly appreciated. I have discussed with kirstys about his breeding and the first thing I noticed was his ears being so large. I've advised they check all local kennels and visit in person at least once a week due to the 7 day ruling, kennels are full of staffies and staffy crosses which I find very sad when visiting Halewood RSPCA. Very often posters are the key to getting sightings, sometimes finders look after dogs rather than them going into kennels. Keeping everything crossed he is back home soon. xxx

might be worth mentioning to owner's to be careful when talking to wardens etc about a 'staffy' as his ears may cause breed confusion, and is probably worth them going to check in person

Spoken to kirstys. Knuckles was being looked after by a friend and he ran off when he was being walked. The area is approx 10 minutes from his home. Family have done a great job already and contacted the right people. I've given advice and other places to try and will email further info/advice a.s.a.p.

kirstys bred Knuckles and he means so much to his family.

There has been quite a few staffies going missing in the area and a Facebook group has been set up, I will add the name and link to it shortly. I've asked to suggest owners of other missing staffies to register them on DL. x
