After lots of searching we came to the conclusion that Mr D was unwanted. He has recently gone to a new home in Brixham, Devon where he is settling in well.

Thankyou for taking care of Mr D. I'm sure you will find him the lovely home that he so deserves. xx

Still no owner found for Mr D. He will have to go up for a rehoming soon. We only find the best homes so he will have a bright future.

Thanks Nic. Due to the area and way in which he was found I think Mr D as we've called him was abandoned. He may have a sad past as he is incredibly nervy and almost agoraphobic. He suffers from separation anxiety which is understandable. These problems can be worked on. He is very loving and totally adorable. He has behaved fantastically well with my dog. I am actually in contact with owners of missing Cranham Doberman Bailey who was sadly found deceased by the railway. They will be visiting Mr D. It may not be the right time or Mr D may not be right for them to consider adopting but it is a possibility.

Have shared on FB and we run a FB page for Lost, found and missing dogs in the South West but we are mainly Dobermann owners as the page started after a friend lost her Dobie pup who was found 3 days later! We went from 2 to 2,000 members nearly overnight so we have kept the page alive and active to try and help others.

It's not Bodie either Im afraid. He is very nervous and doesnt appear to be used to walks he's almost agoraphobic so his past could be a bit suspect although I never assume things. He has met my dog and is very relaxed with her so far. Still searching and passing word around. He is being well cared for in the meantime. We are calling him Mr Dobie for now!

Bodie is chipped I think.

Could this be Bodie CM3 who has distinguishing features?

Local councils have been informed and pictures on our 4000 member Facebook page and are circulating. Anyone willing to poster please do and spread the word. Finder took to Mr Dobie to vet to scan for chip and we at Hornchurch Animal Rescue have also scanned. No microchip. Was wearing a choke collar when found.
