Thanks for posting Carole greatly appreciated. :)

Pleased to report the found in Halewood RSPCA is ALFIE.

Took a few photo/s of him and sent one to Carole who confirmed it was her lovely boy and was over the moon and relieved to know he is safe, he will be getting picked up tomorrow. Staff now have Carole's details and once he is back home we can have pleasure in moving him into the BLUE.

He looks a lovely friendly boy and a credit to his mum who won't be getting much sleep tonight. Wish I was off work tomorrow to meet up and witness the REUNION and help Carole in getting to the kennels and home which is a good few miles from the RSPCA.

Rang owner, where the found in Halewood was picked up is right by where they live. Unfortunately owner cannot get to the kennels until tomorrow and will have to get a taxi. I've given them reference number for the found. Alfie has only been with them since February. Owner is going to try and get a photo to me asap and I will call into the kennels later this afternoon to check him out and send a photo to owner. Details on DL updated. Will alert the kennels again that it does look like it is Alfie. x

Spoken to Halewood RSPCA and there is a possible match in there, he was picked up and handed into Police station. I've got the details and will pass onto cj who has replied by text but unable to ring back. Fingers crossed it is him. x

Thanks Maggie. :)

I will contact cj and follow this one up. The found may of been taken to Leigh Cats & Dog's Home but if Alfie was picked up in the missing area he would go to Halewood RSPCA. x
