It is very possible that Kenton is still on the loose and still scavenging, as dogs can survive for months like this, so we do need to keep searching and postering for this lovely boy. Please do not give up! x

I think you need to organise a search party to check all the land you can access, but carefully, and only take dogs onto public land. I think you need to search everywhere rural. If we rule out any ditches, or bushes that Kenton might be sleeping in, then we can work on other angles, but keep those posters going up. I know its hard, but someone must know. Check again with the landowners and any workers on those lands. Look around his last sighting area, very carefully. Where might he go to bed down? They make little beds out there, in sheltered places. Please keep searching the land. Kenton where are you? x

Still no word or any other sightings

I think we need a lot more posters up as we need to keep these sightings coming in. Owners, remember the emails that I sent you and re-read if necessary. This sighting will be part of Kenton's triangle route, so you need to plot the sightings on a map and figure out the rest of the triangle. If you have two points you can roughly guess the third point. As we don't know what has happened to poor Kenton, we don't know if he can find the point he went missing from. If he can smell his own scent, he should do,but if he has been moved away by a vehicle or something, he won't be able to find his own scent. Let's assume he can for the moment, then that will be the first part of the triangle. The sighting is the second, so where will the third point be? If he has had an accident, an injury, a knock on the head or anything like that, he may well be confused and wary of anyone, but don't worry, this will come back in time. What we need to do now is leave food out for him, possibly where this sighting was, where he was rummaging through the bins. Leave food you know he loves and is used to. He has already figured out there could be food in the bins so if you leave food in this same place, in Sandon, but a safe part away from the roads etc he will keep returning once he knows it is there. You can do a very tiny trail of food away from the bins into a safe place, where the rest should be. This must be left regularly, same day, same time. Please do not chase him, let him come to you, as if he is confused or just gone into survival mode, he will not necessarily recognise you. This will come back, so please don't worry, but you need to coax him first. He has to be like this in order to survive, it is instinct which is a good thing. Keep going you are almost there! x

Sorry to hear Kenton is missing, it might be worth putting a poster up in Sales of Sandon and Sandon Saddlery, also at the Mill End livery yard in Sandon because the horse riders might see something while they're out riding. I'm afraid I don't have a printer otherwise I would do it myself. I hope he comes home soon.

Area has lots of land around, I think we need to keep checking in with farmers, land owners, any gamekeepers and of course the travellers that owners have located. Someone must have seen this boy. There is a lot of land to cover as Kenton's pal came back 6 hours later, so we need a big search. I am really worried for these two beautiful fur babes, as one is lost and one is distressed. We need to find Kenton.

I have emailed and been in contact with owner. Both dogs chased a rabbit coming back from a walk. After 6 hours one returned, in a terrible state, shaking. We have no idea what happened to Kenton, but other dog is upset and missing him. Please can everyone help find this baby. Thank you. x
