This one is chipped to a Mrs C bell in Suffolk, but not seen the vet for 3yrs. If that is Seb's history:

Hi, i dont know who to report this to, i was driving south on the A1 between Lincoln and Grantham this morning and about 2 miles before the Foston turnoff there was a black and white dog in the midle of the carriageway next to the barrier (looked like a boarder collie type breed), it wasnt safe to stop but the dog was definitely dead it appeared to have been hit and moved or something. I called South Kesteven District Council after being told by the RSPCA that they "weren't interested in dogs if they were dead"...but no one would pick up at SKDC so i left them a message. Just though it might be worth posting it on here as well as some of you will know other people to notify incase the dog is missing or stolen or something. I'd hate for it to have been my dog and no one to have said anything...hopefully more than just me will have reported it after driving past though so fingers crossed the owners find out somehow :-( NG31,32,33 areas

This is also a bit of long shot but I was in the waiting room of the University of East Anglia medical centre in Norwich today when a black Labrador just appeared! He had a red collar on but no tags to identify who he belonged to. He was very friendly and wasn't nervous at all, seemed very happy and was full of energy. When I left he was being looked after by staff there and a dog warden was coming to take him to kennels somewhere, I assume in Norwich so it may be worth checking around kennels in Norwich.

A bit of a long shot as it's 70 miles away, but on the National Pet Register there's a male black lab found in Cambridge today 26 May. Neutered and wearing a red collar. http://www.nationalpetregister.org/fp/39665.htm

Sleaford is kind of borderline between Central and East Anglia. The NG postcode covers a vast area, and Sleaford is a long way away from Nottingham.

Is the region meant to be Central rather than East Anglia? I wouldn't want poor Seb to be missed in a detailed search of lost dogs if he was/had been found x
