  • Other Info He went missing from the back garden with another dog. The other dog was found. Bob is 4-5 years of age and has never gone off before. He loves to be fussed and is very playful. It is a rural area but there are lots of ramblers, so he could have been picked up. PLEASE help us to find him as we miss him a lot. Thank you.

Thank you Claire, the lady who spotted him on Sunday only realised it was him because you were handing note out, so thank you very much, Bob is a little thin, a few people had seen him and tried to catch him, but he had run off each time, it was only went a gentle man managed to pen him in a field, and then dad arrived he was then caught, Bob was very glad to see him tail wagging!! Great day!! I will keep a look out for you Claire xxx

Brilliant news. Well done everyone. Welcome home Bob x

Fantastic news Hannah! You must all be delighted. If you see us charging around Wadhurst (Jasper's an 'energetic' golden retriever so I'm usually trailing behind a taut lead), please stop to say hi! xx

Have cropped Bob's photo so it's a better size and this dog has not had posters sent out yet.

Hope today is the day Bob is back home, safe. Good idea Claire and Jasper to hand out post-its, as for the posters I put them in plastic A4 covers with opening at the bottom and use drawing pins to put them up. Good luck x

Come on Bob xx
Claire and Jasper
Brilliant news - I've got everything crossed for you! I spoke to a handful of dog-walkers who were mad enough to be at Snape Wood this morning at 8.30 in the rain! I told them about Bob and told them what to do if they spot him. I didn't take posters as they would have got soggy - I just took post-its with the key info. Anyway, hope it's gone well today. xx
Hannah
Great news, Bob has been sighted again between Wadhurst and Frant, Dads on his way to see if he can find him, and Im going over to help, finger crossed we will find him today!! xx
Claire and Jasper
Hi Hannah - well there are lots of lovely places for him to find shelter around there! I'm quite new to Doglost but I've followed lots of dogs' stories on here and what I've seen time and again is that postering and leafleting really works. In light of the ramblers idea, don't forget the pubs and footpaths! I'll check back on here tomorrow - hope there's good news. Good luck! xx

All xd for the safe return of Bob
Hannah
Hi, home is Wadhurst but dad works at Two other farms one near Markcross and one in Mayfield, Thank you very much that's very kind xx
Claire and Jasper
Hi, I'm in Wadhurst and I'm keeping an eye out for Bob. Where's home - is it Mark Cross? I'll be talking to dog-walkers at Snape Wood tomorrow when we go and when I drive to Tunbridge Wells later, I'll go via Mark Cross and Frant as that's where you had a sighting. Let me know if you want some help looking for him. Thinking of you and fingers crossed he's home VERY soon! Claire x
Hannah
I know its not a great photo, but will try and find another tomorrow.
