- I have spoken to Thamsewood Vets who really do know nothing about this found Spaniel, there are many fields near there so we assume the finders ment 'Found in fields opposite Thameswood Vets' but I will continue to try and find out if the Spaniel was reunited

- Apparently the people that took the dog in just let Thameswood know , I guess in case the owner was looking and where the Spaniel was found is close to that vets, I am sorry about the confusion but that was all the info there was , but thought better to crosspost than not.The email addy is only visible to co-ordinators Scruffpot, which was the link to the facebook page should anyone need to know. I will try to see if I can find more info Last edited: 2012-04-27 15:39:12 by Reynard

- Vets rang me yesterday and know nothing about this dog,,,have removed their number as dont see the point in anyone ringing if no dog there.
Scruffpot have emailed you the email addy given by person who posted...though I am as confused as you by this ad crossposted from facebook. - 2012-04-26 22:56 Scruffpot
- Reynard. Your post has me rather confused. I rang the number given this morning to see if the found dog was Pip (37934), who is my friend & neighbours dog. I am doing as much searching as I can on their behalf (and they know this). I got through to Thameswood and they said they knew nothing at all about a found spaniel, yet their details and phone number are still above. There is no email address listed. Please can you clarify where this dog is and how to contact whoever has the dog to check details? Thanks :-)Last edited: 2012-04-26 23:11:35 by Scruffpot

- Sorry Thameswood Vets , but one should only phone if they think the dog is theirs, I did say there was no more details and an email address was added which is not Thameswood.Last edited: 2012-04-26 20:57:30 by Reynard

- Just an idea - if the tag is worn, is it possible to take a rubbing of it? Sometimes these tags are embossed even if the coloured writing is not legible anymore.

- Thamkeswood vets have rung to say they know nothing about this dog and are getting calls from people as its all over the internet. Have given them local helpers number so they sort out where info came from. Will update when they know more.in the meantime have removed their number.
