Thanks all, this site is brilliant, i am going to spread the word far and wide about the marvellous work and support you offer. It has been an exhausting and emotional time but knowing that his disappearance was notified to all members in the area made such a difference. He was found where he was lost, at Horbury Lagoons, so it appears that the black dog running quickly at the 'Mad Mile'/gawthorpe roundabout was most likely not my Jack. The lady who phoned an ossett vets asking for the dogwarden number as a dog was in her garden, then didn't ring the warden, and the vets didn't take her details unfortunately. I will check out all the missing dogs and publicise your fantastic work. Thanks again xx

There are at least 3 dogs I know of that are missing in this area so this dog could be any of the 3 or even another one. Have the others in Thornhill and Earlsheaten been told of this sighting?

Maxine, Jacks owner, has had a report from a vets that a lady in Ossett called them to say she had found a dog in her garden at around 9.30 this morning and they advised her to call the dog warden. There is a possibility this may be Jack but until we can find out more about this we need to keep looking for Jack. We dont even know for sure if the lady had managed to catch this dog. Dog wardens and vets are aware and some poster have been done. I have given Maxine the phone numbers for all local stray kennels. Hoping Jack is found very soon xLast edited: 2012-04-26 10:44:23 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
