I am just so Lucky to have my Mungo back safely he has got very sore front paws and is exausted and with a bit of an upset tummy all of which will improve in a couple of days.
When i got him home the first thing he did was look around for his squeeky Beef Burger its the only squeeky toy he hasnt got the squeeker out in 2 mins!
I would like to thank everyone for all the help and support ive had over the past week espically sue from DOG LOST who gave such good advice and reasurance at such a terrible time for me, i think this is an area which i will look to become involved with, so many thanks to you all once again Sue and Mungo XX

Yippee ...this is the best news ever!!!! Welcome Home Mungo!!The 1st thing I did this morning was to log on to see if there was any news on Mungo & I'm over joyed to see he has now been found. I hope he is O.K. and that his poorly leg hasn't got worse with all his running around. Well Done Sue you did a great job alerting the public to Mungo's plight. You can both now have a really good nights sleep. If you could give us all an update on how he is that would be fantastic. Give Mungo a cuddle from me xx

Great that the sightings are now coming in -it is only a matter of time before Mungo lets himself be caught. Sue, sounds like you are doing a great job with the Postering and now that he is in the Advertiser that will be a help too - have you put posters up along the A419 and at the traffic lights etc. The more people that know about Mungo the better. I've updated my family from Swindon about the recent sighting. I'm keeping everything crossed for you.xx

email from a helper...

Hello

I'm a helper for Dog Lost and received an alert regarding Mungo yesterday. He was lost just a few miles from where I live and I now know that quite a few people are looking locally and I've distributed posters. I'm also the Labrador Rescue area rep and he's active on our system but we haven't heard anything. Dog wardens tend to call us directly if stray labs are picked up. Will of course inform you if there is any news. Lets hope he's ok

Kind regards
Mollychops
Well done Sue, keep up the postering you are doing great , IM sure once Mungo is in the paper we will get some calls X
sue
He wasnt wearing his collar as it was attached to his Buster Collar which he had to have on when unattended, due to his right leg wound which was very much on the mend. He does has a full tail.
sue
Yes Wyevale and Handy Garden and all round the back of Groundwell,I just need a sighting!

Mungo ran off from owners sisters house at 5.30 pm on the 24th . He was hit by a car then ran off into Stanton wood. He was seen there agian at 5.40. He was then seen and reported on the A419 at 6.pm on the northbound area of the A419 by wyevale garden centre then at 6.15 at Groundwell. A man had been trying to catch him here but couldnt , so very kindly took the time to report this info. Nothing since owner has been postering and Ive suggested a piece in the local paper. Ive emailed out advice sheets. Poor Mungo is probably scared and very lost by now, he may well be hiding up somewhere. Please keeep an eye open for this lovely boy
Mollychops
I will contact owners in the morning as this is just up the road from me
