- Just read the story. Dogs never cease to amaze me. For those who can't find the story - we know Ted was in the park last night about 10pm and home at 4am this morning, which is 6 miles away. But, he must have covered a whole lot more miles before that, as he was spotted re-entering the park, which means he had gone out of it before, whilst he got his bearings. No wonder he is tired, bless him! This also proves what we say, they do do a triangle circuit and they do come back to where they were lost and in Ted's case, he even managed to find his way home from the other side of Enfield! What a clever, clever dog! Owners you did really well! x

- Hi ChrisF, I am soooooo glad to know Ted is home safe and sound. Thank you for texting me last night and this morning. I am sure Ted got a whiff of your scent last night and that he followed it home! What a clever boy! What a lovely thing to do with the reward, that is very kind. It will go towards keeping this site running to help all the other dogs. THANK YOU!!!!! Welcome home Teddy! Please don't roam alone again. You gave your Dad a fright, probably yourself one too. Keep safe precious. Well done everyone! xxx

- Hi, I'm Ted's owner and just wanted to say thank you to Dogslost for the advice I was given and thank you to all the people who helped look for him, rang in with sightings and generally made me feel less alone and desperate. The response was really overwhelming and I met some immensely kind people. Ted has slept like a log all day, waking only to eat and wee, and has put up with a bath. Here's a little account of his adventure which my flatmate has written:

As he made his own way home there was no-one to give the reward money to so I will be donating it to Dogslost, what a great resource for all the lost & found dogs out there. Thank you. - 2012-04-30 20:39 lesleyjane

- Ted is still missing. I have been searching since he disappeared and covered miles of ground. Been back to the area he was lost in frequently, postered and talked to park users etc.
Please keep your eyes out for my little Ted. He's a home-loving dog who spends all his time snuggled up next to or on top of me usually so he must be feeling very lost and cold. Please help me. - 2012-04-27 19:13 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
- Check out the Animal Rescue Centre in the park - they will help you if they can. They can leave food out for Ted; he will probably stay in the park. Check the water areas, this is a drink supply for him. He may well hang around the visitor centre as this is a food supply. Poster all around there. Also poster the main roads around the park and then further out. You have a good chance of finding him, but the park is massive, so check out all the wooded areas carefully as that is where he may bed down, either than or near the centres. Poster, poster, poster!!! He will come back to where he was lost, if he can, so leave something of yours there so he can smell you. He is more likely to stay there if he smells you. If someone has picked him up you need to make him too hot to handle and they should hand him to the dog warden. You can do this! Come on Ted! x
