- Thanks for the update Hannah, hopefully you will be able to trace this man...
- 2012-06-23 10:44 HannahB93
- Update: Just had a bloke come down our yard talking about an American in the village near us that had found a Jack Rusell a little while ago - but had never reported it or found the owner. Unfortunately we don't know who this is or where they live, but we have some idea.
I think he/she may have found the dog near where Bonzo was last seen - and thought it belonged to someone else - but when they discovered it didn't, perhaps decided to keep it.
Bloke wasn't sure if it was black/white or brown/white.
Now going to investigate and try to get to the bottom of this - hopefully this time it'll be him! :) x x - 2012-06-15 20:24 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- Good luck Hannah, I really hope your boy will be home with you very soon xx
- 2012-06-15 20:16 HannahB93
- Traps have been set in the places he was last sighted....no news yet, but fingers crossed ! x
- 2012-06-14 20:17 HannahB93
- Thank you very much - but I think we'll be able to sort out a trap to put down for him, but thanks :)
Thank you, my mum was looking out there earlier and thinks she saw him, but he ran off into some very thick brambles...
He was sighted down Leonards's lane? Near a sewerage place? x x - 2012-06-14 18:18 scootjockey
- Where was the last sighting Hanna please?
- 2012-06-14 17:58 scootjockey
- Awwwh, great you had as sighting, good luck hope the trap works and brings him home.PS Bonzo is a proper beauty. Everything crossed love stolen Tays mumx

- Really good news there has been a sighting. Have you got a trap that you are able to use? If not we have one here in Suffolk but would have to get it over to you x
- 2012-06-14 15:31 HannahB93
- Update: Another possible sighting of Bonzo very nearby...the person who sighted him said he was certain it was Bonzo and that he had a collar on that matched Bonzo's - and also a bell on it aswell.
We've been looking around the area but just missed him. We're going to take one of our other dog's for a walk around the area to try and make him stay put and set up some traps to try and catch him.
Fingers crossed this is him - and that he's back home soon ! :) x x - 2012-05-15 22:40 HannahB93
- Thank you, that's a good idea. Still have plenty of posters so I will get them up (or replace some if needed) as soon as I can.
I will try to get an advert in the Lynn paper or EDP - hopefully this could bring some news - as the problem is people just don't seem aware that he is still missing! Thanks x - 2012-05-15 14:28 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- I'm sorry there has been no news of Bonzo, we need to keep him in every body's mind and let them know that he is still missing and very much missed!
If there are any posters that are tatty and torn replace them so they look fresh, also perhaps another advert in the local newspaper to remind people you are still searching for xx
- 2012-05-13 15:39 HannahB93
- Thought I'd say that there has still been no news on Bonzo's whereabouts. :/ no sightings, nothing. :( And we were so sure we'd finally get him when he was sighted in Feltwell...
We're starting to think the worst has happened to him. But I really hope we're wrong. And that he finds his way home soon x - 2012-05-05 19:42 HannahB93
- Thanks - I hope not too ! But unfortunately it is highly possible, as he has not been sighted since the claimed one in Feltwell. And there was another Jack Russell loose that day...
Will make sure to phone the woman again and clarify it was her dog that was sighted and not Bonzo.
We've been calling all the local (and some not so local!) vets and giving them some details - so hopefully if it was him and he has been scared out of the area and someone picks him up - we wil be notified. Thank you. x - 2012-05-05 15:47 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- Oh no Hannah I hope not!! I will add the latest update to the facebook pages.
Well done on all you are doing to get Bonzo back home x - 2012-05-05 13:39 HannahB93
- UPDATE: Just been informed that a farmer who lves along the same road have some of his sheep stolen the same day that Bonzo went missing. Now looking at the possibility he was stolen too. Police have already been contacted and we are widening our search. x
- 2012-05-03 18:48 HannahB93
- There is some doubt this sighting was Bonzo - because he was sighted in two places at nearly the same time, and another Jack had gotten loose in the area - which could explain why we hadn't heard anything since (as they got their dog back)but there has been confusion frmo the lack of communication...
But - there could have been two completely diff. Jack's sighted - as one did not have a collar (unlikely someone would not put a collar on their pet - and Bonzo could have lost his if he had been down a rabbit hole) and was filthy BLACK dirty - which could only have come from the soil along our road. They also said this dog was very timid - which would be unlike a lively Jack that had just given their owner the slip for a few minutes.
Hopefully this was Bonzo - and he will be sighted again soon - but we have been searching there for days and have found nothing. Hope he is found soon, as we all miss him lots and want him back x - 2012-05-02 07:55 HannahB93
- Thankyou, now going to put more posters in the area he was sighted and have another thorough look around - we think he must be hiding somewhere in the village. And there's lots of places for a little Jack Russell to hide!
Thanks, we've got lots of people all keeping an eye out and searching, so hopefully he will be home soon x - 2012-05-01 23:20 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- Posters and flyers amended to add the words "Very timid, please do not chase, please contact the owner immediately"
The last thing we want is for Bonzo to be scared out of the area!
Good luck tomorrow Hannah, praying he will be home very soon xxx - 2012-05-01 15:32 HannahB93
- Yes, we've been putting them up as we've been searching - there was already a few up - which was how we got the call saying he'd been sighted. But since then we've been putting them up where he was sighted and surrounding places he could have run off to. Also have whole family searching villages on foot and by car. Thanks, hopefully someone else will spot him and phone up soon. x

- Hannah are there posters up in the area he was possible seen? If not get some up while you are searching then hopefully calls will start to come in....
- 2012-05-01 15:12 HannahB93
- Thank you. it is very possible and likely that it was Bonzo that was sighted - in Feltwell and in Hockwold. Though very dirty and very scared/lost. Someone tried to pick him up but he ran off. Now searching around the area for where he might have gone after this. (as he was sighted this morning, but haven't seen/heard anything since). x

- We will keep an eye out for Bonzo turning up with us (from the King's Lynn & West Norfolk council holding kennels). Hope it's OK to use his picture for our website, the owner has written to me to include him on our lost animals section, but I did not have a photo of him.
Stay safe little Bonzo and hope you make it home very, very soon.
