I have been trying to replace posters that have been torn down. Only just returned from a long holiday in Scotland - so am trying to catch up with whats going on. Wasn't able to make the dog show at the rec ground because of the hols, but hope it all went well. I put the posters up around the rec and burial grounds and a friend owns the horses on the corner - so have pinned some posters to her fencing (in front of burial grounds). Will re poster Marston Green and out towards airport and Solihull. Sara xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The Show is on the REc ground at the cricket club on Bickenhill Rd- before the burial ground- there are posters of Tia there already. Ive spoken to a local rescue Animal Allsorts but they have heard nothing and I believe at the moment that there is no dog warden for Solihull. She is most likely kept in a house with whoever took her. If I see you at the Show (I am the organiser) I will give you some more ideas where to look-look out for me with a DOGLOST T shirt onLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just spoke to the owner. He took day off work to look for her. He will be there on Saturday. Is the show on the road towards the airport? A neighbour spotted another lost dog on Saturday. I can't see it posted on the site. It was a German Shepherd cross, black/brown, very thin, no collar, crossing the road from Meriden Park towards St Andrews Church. Traffic stopped for it. She stopped where she could safely park, but couldn't find what happened to it. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry she hasnt turned up yet - I spoke to your neighbour when I first saw the hand written poster up and gave him some ideas where to ring - we have put some posters up for you in Chelmsley - along Morrend Ave and on the town centre- and a few in marston Green. You will need to keep checking as the kids round here think its fun to pull them down. Poster all the trees on the town centre as everyone goes there who lives round here and someone must have seen her. And dont forget Smiths Wood and Castle Brom. Theres a pet shop in the market too that will put a poster up - we have given one to the pet shop in Tile Cross. There is no mention about a reward on your poster - you may get one of the girls friends ring you if theres a reward in it for them. Keep looking shes lovely. Come and talk to the dog owners at the dog show on the 27th at the Rec ground - someone may have seen somethingLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have you tried Galaxy radio station? they are really good about this sort of thing - and they are listened to by the teens and 20 somethings more than the other stations. Just a thought!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What about the Evening Mail. Am sure they would run the story for you, and they cover all areas surrounding Chelmsley Wood. Was out putting up posters in and around the recreation grounds in Marston a few nights ago and was asked about Tia by a lady and her daughter. She has said that she will gladly ask around and direct peoples attention towards the posters. Will be out again tonight doing the same. hoping Tia is back with her babies asap. I have emailed Colebridge.org and a Solihull news site. There is a Chelmsley News magazine but neither our family, nor this area, ever get a local magazine. If anyone does get this can you please let me have a contact number. Thanks.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have just spoken to the owner. The puppies are just 3 weeks old. Whoever has Tia must know she has puppies somewhere. Tia is also suffering from sore ears which need attention. Let's hope she is found soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
