I am so, so happy! Welcome home Chalky.
Heather
Forgot to mention, fortunately I know the course manager really well so he had all his green keepers look out for us, and indeed one of his green keepers found Chalky. Great site, I hope to God none of my dogs ever go missing but I'm so pleased that I'm aware of your site now, great help, thank you so much.
Heather
Hi All, Thanks so much for your help, and your advice. Good news, Chalky has been found, in one of the gardens backing onto the course. We have spent hours on there and he was obviously hiding, even when he would have seen me and all my dogs that he knows, and his owner Richard, he ignored us. Richard is obviously delighted!

My dogs groomer, Centre Stage, has kindly forwarded this page to all her clientele, so they'll be even more locals looking out for Chalky.

Hi again Heather. Its Lizzy R on Sandra C's Facebook page. Just to say I've tweeted Chalky's details and put on Facebook. Really hope he's found soon. Best wishes
Angel
Have put a poster up in the main Sunninghill Post Office this morning. Only had change for 1 week.

Hi Heather. If you haven’t already, make sure you put posters on all the poo bins at the Golf course and every entrance, that includes driveways and walkways. They Will take them down so just keep doing it. Also give notices to the cottages on the site, the office, ladies club house and main club house. Don’t just tell the staff as they say they will pass the info on but that doesn’t seem to happen. Ask them to Please check all out buildings as there are a lot of places he could have gone to ground. There’s also an area where they normally have a bonfire going, have a good look round there as it’s nice and warm. Also poster the Brickmakers Pub as that is accessible if he goes through the woods. As you can access Chobham and Windlesham from the woods it may be a good idea to poster around there too, especially at the Tack shop as people ride horses around there too. The Half way hut is a must, lovely smell of cooking sausages! Apart from all the other things admin would have suggested you do, contact all local dog walking companies. Really hope you find him soon. X And don't forget to poster all the houses that back onto the golf course as he could easily have got into some of their gardens. xLast edited: 2012-05-01 09:24:37 by Angel
