- Gunner is reunited with her owner!
Julie Briggs made the match for Gunner with a dog which was in the Pound! We finally made contact with Gunners owner and sent the photos of Lacey (this the name she had been given) to Gunners owner to see if she thought it could be Gunner, other photos were supplied by Shelle Canine Lifesavers Allders of other markings that Lacey had one being the white mark on the back of her neck, her owner was still a but unsure and asked if Shelle could send her a photo of Lacey's tummy to see if the white went right the way down which it did. Gunners owner was farily sure it was her and arranged to go and see Lacey today! The good news is that it was Gunner!! :))
Fantastic that she's been found after all this time!! All her family are over the moon to have her home and can't thank everyone enough for all their help!
I would like to say WELL DONE to Julie Briggs for making the match, well spotted!! Thank you to Shelle for all her help, getting more pics, also speaking to her owner, also thank you to Charley for giving her a rescue place without that Gunner wouldn't be here!!
Thank you to EVERYONE who looked out for after all this time, you are ALL truly amazing people!!!!!
A BIG WELCOME HOME Gunner, sending you Hugs and kisses xxxxxxxx - 2013-09-15 20:22 Julie B
- I can confirm that Gunner has been reunited with her family after 15 months. She ended up in a Kent pound and was due to be pts - but it was thought the little dog in the pound was Gunner (by the markings) and she was pulled from the pound and taken to a safe place to ensure she lived. Gunners owner has been to see the dog today and the beautiful Gunner has now gone back home with her family who are obviously delighted. I wish all the dogs were lucky enough to have this happy ending. xx
