I am so sorry for your loss. Too many dogs are killed on railway lines. I do believe that a lot of animals and people could be saved if the networks fenced in the tracks.

When you feel up to it maybe take a look at the attached link. I found it when my dog has been killed by a train earlier this year.

I don't know what to say. When I was in Calverly woods last weekend for the first time I heard a train but didn't know where it was. Having read on doglost how many missing dogs are lost to the railway it did make me nervous of taking a boat mooring there. I can't believe that less than a week later such a young and beautiful animal has been lost on the same stretch I could hear. Run free at rainbow bridge beautiful Fudge with my Toffee.

Owners are out now with several other people searching and postering the area of the sighting on Redcar Road. This is only about a mile from where she lives ! Fingers crossed it is her and she is found soon xx

poster like hell for this little lady!!! make her too hot to handle,,are there any gun groups about? shooting range etc? they could have been offered her to make a gundog?,,worth a try.. newspapers worth a try too,,even if it does take a few days its worth it,,but def with a photo,,trail free ads like gumtree etc,,its amazing where they turn,,dont give up!! hope she is safe home very soon ;-

I was in Caverley woods with my two on Saturday (near Swiftcraft canal boats). I'm afraid I didn't see anything put there were lots of dog walkers and lot of places to go to ground a. Theres a map display board at the entrance I suggest you poster that. Also leave one at Swift craft and Appley bridge marina. I'm in and out that area at the moment buying a boat so I'll keep my eyes open.I'm sure you've postered Sainsbury's but do the lamposts around the traffic lights where cars have to stop.

Fudge vanished from her owners driveway whilst he was unloading his vehicle at around 2 pm on Wednesday 30 th April. She has never wandered off before.
Her owners have informed the dog wardens ,are checking with all local stray kennels and have been postering. I have advised them to try to get some media coverage . Hopefully she has been taken in by someone who will report this to the dog warden which is required BY LAW. Hoping that Fudge is found very soon xx
