Express and Star have not replied to mail, but thats norm for them. Keelah was going to try and approach the Evening Mail, dont know if she was successful or not. Sheba could be seen as a long coated GSD to the untrained eye, but I would think she hasa little bit of collie in her somewhere.

Jazzi, have you spoken to E&S ? Best angle to pitch at them is a nice pic of the owner next to packing cases clutching a framed photograph of his beloved Sheba. Let me know if you want Sian or myself to do deal with this, although since you have the contacts it shouldn't be a problem.

Jazzi you are wonderful! What a relief for the owners. Do we have any information as to what the other breed is in her make up to be able to identify her easier? All I can do here is trawl the internet for any dogs that look like her in rescue although I recognise that the owners seem to think someone has her (I cannot hear her howling from the depths of Wales LOL) Could she be mistaken for a full GSD? I do hope she can be found before the owners emigrate! Hazel

Have had a long chat with Shebas owner, we are in the process of making preparations to ensure that if Sheba is found after the owner leaves the UK she can still be reunited. The owner has agreed that I will become her legal guardian and have authority to reclaim her. Petlog will be notified of this and relevant documentation forwarded to myself. No way will we let Sheba slip through the net.

Sheba's owner is emigrating in July and is desperate to have Sheba back before he leaves. Owner believes Sheba is still in the area as he is sure he spotted her in a passing van in the area. Local helpers have been re e mailed the poster of Sheba and PR are working on getting some local publicity for her.

Have spoken to Shebas owner, he is doing more posters today. I have also alerted him to Tara (04.09.05 B67) as she is very similar to Sheba. He will keep a look out for her too.
