Some distance away, but National pet register has a report of a found female patterdale in Chester le street yesterday - taken to Cleadon Kennels:

Black patterdale terrier (so im told) found at 8pm saturday 27/10 wandering up blackfell way in Birtley by the new persimmon homes. she was all over the road and almost hit by a taxi. knocked doors, and walked her hoping she would lead me to an area she knew but to no avail. took her home but due to my female dog going potty i had to call the dog warden at gateshead council. the guy picked her up at 9.30 and took her to cleadon kennels (0191) 5292369 where she will be kept for a week. if no one claims her she will apparently be put up for re homing.

shes a lively girl, acting like a puppy, but teeth and greying around the muzzle/whiskers makes me think shes probably older.

Location where she was lost was around: Wybunbury/Shavington - Newcastle Road. (Old A500)Dig Lane, B5071 or Stock Lane. We think she was picked up on the Newcastle Road.

I was coming home from Wales late last night, off the motorway and heading on the dual carriage way towards Runcorn Bridge on the left hand side is ICI factory, I saw a dog small black terrier type running up the dual carriage way towards were I had just come from, I tried to stop but it was too dangerous. I know its a long shot and I dont know whether Crewe is near here but I couldnt get it out of my mind and have checked on here to see if a dog fitted the description that I saw. The dog was heading towards Frodsham.

have phoned around several vets within 10 miloe radius leaving roxys details and registered her as lost also fingers crossed she will be home soon, roxy does go down lots of rabbit holes
