Thanks for the call Goose, I was so pleased to hear that Maisie has been found safe and well. Thanks also for all the support you gave to Maisie's family.

Maisie has been found! She was picked up on the expressway yesterday and taken to Runcorn. The finder found out who she was via facebook and the owner is going to pick her up this afternoon.

If picked up Maisie would be handed into Halewood RSPCA 0151 486 1706. I was in there today and there are a few Shih Tzu and Lhaso Apso's some have been there since before Maisie went missing. Owner has most probably already contacted/visited the kennels but if not important they do. When dog's are first taken into Halewood they are in the first block waiting to be accessed and booked in before any members of the public can see them. Keeping everything crossed if not already Maisie is back home soon. x

I have spoken a couple of times to Bancie and he doesn't know Maisie's owners but met them while they were searching and offered to help. He told them all about DogLost and gave them all the initial advice of who to contact and is at the moment our searching the area with his own dog. I will contact the owners tomorrow to request a photo and give further advice. They have reported Maisie to the police and dog warden, have put posters up in the area and lots of dog walkers are aware she is missing and looking out for her.
