I've been to Dogs Trust at Roden near Telford in Shropshire today and they had a Border terrier cross in. Didn't get to look at her/him closely as one of the staff was taking her/him for a walk. Looked possibly a bit darker than the photo on here but also looked as if it had not long been clipped which does change the colour. May be worth a look. I'm just having a look through some of the missing dogs to see if any look like the ones I've just seen. Hope you find her soon. ChrisLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Pip's mum, Yes Pip is out there somewhere and just waiting for you to find her. Keep putting posters up they really help - it only takes one person to see a poster and put 2 + 2 together. Also keep phoning the rescue centres! The best of luck and sorry I don't live near enough to help you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

pipsmum - the site in Polegate is roughly behind Lynholm Road.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm not sure exactly where the Polegate site is but I'll find out and let you know asap. So far in Hailsham, I've postered Ersham Rd, gravel car park at entrance to Cuckoo Trail, London Rd and round pond/entrance to rec opposite Chandlers BMW garage. Will try and get some more up over next few days. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am going to do as much as I can on Saturday but I would like to know where the camp is in polegate. I would of course be pleased if you could do some postering as I would like to get as many up as possible but I understand if you are too busy.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The site near Station Road is an authorised one and is known as Swan Barn. There's also another authorised site somewhere in Polegate. Have you postered Town Farm and Diplocks Estates? Probably well worth doing if not already done so. If you need an extra pair of hands then just give me a shout. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi pipsmum - if you wanted a bit of a joint effort on Saturday then i would be more than happy to do that - i do have horses to do first thing but could probably find a couple of hours at some stage during the day. If you are not about then i will try to target some of the main areas for you. I will PM you my mobile number so that you can contact me if you need to.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Zoe, I think there are quite a few places in the area at the moment so I have mainly done pubs and garages. Thanks for your help I really appreciate it. Could I mail you nearer the weekend if I need any more help? It is nice to have the back up thanks.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I put a couple of posters up at the entrance to Park Wood last night and also took one to dog training. One of my friends is a teacher at Hailsham Community College. She said that there are quite a few traveller families in Hailsham - on some of the estates and also a site near Station Road? (I don't really know Hailsham so you are probably better informed than i am!). Have you postered in places like this? If not, i am happy to do it but probably won't be until the weekend. Let me know if you want me to do anything.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I didn't do any for the same reason - i didn't want to duplicate and i have been in bed all weekend with a stomach bug so didn't get any done over the weekend either! Let me know if you want me to do the leisure centre - i also take one of my dogs to training classes in Battle so will put one up there too. I pass Park Wood (Hailsham end of Horebeech Lane) on the way to Battle so will get one up there as well - loads of dog walkers use that wood. Do hope that you get some good news soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi zoe Thanks I have put posters up in some of the pubs but I haven't done the leisure Centre. Did you manage to do any just so I don't cover the same area. Many thanksLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Forgot to say, may be worth postering the Lagoon Leisure Centre (lots of local families etc), the library, the supermarkets - all the places that attract lots of people.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have all the local pubs been sent a poster? If she has been sold on then this would be one of the places it may have happened. Also, is there a reward as this sometimes encourages people to come forward?! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Nothing Jane. He was meant to be away for "a couple of weeks". I do have a dodgy address that might be involved in Daisy's theft - as the areas are so close, it might be related - but I need someone to go to Burgess Hill to follow it up - and it needs to be someone thick skinned. OK, I'm going to have to hold my hands up here. The only thing I know about Annie is that small girls with red hair get cast. Do I take it that Pip played the dog that belongs to Annie ? What's the storyline ? Where was this production and was it amateur or pro ? Thanks. NikLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi it is Pips mum here. I am really sorry that I cannot find a better picture. I may be able to get one from the Hailsham Gazette. As Pip was in the local production of Annie and they took quite a few pictures. I will contact them. Thanks to all of you for your help. JennyLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I did spend quite a lot of time on putting this pic through Photoshop the other day, but even changing the resolution didn't help much at poster size. Part of the trouble is that the pic you need for web is not the pic you need for print. I nearly always have to enhance any pic that's being sent over to a newspaper. I could do you one that would look at bit better on a poster, but it would be crap on the site. NikLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
