After extensive searching the family of the registered owner has been found and spoken to. Unfortunately the owner of this dog is now estranged from his family - he changed his contact details and they have no numbers or address to contact him,.
Bo has now been offered a place at staffie rescue so will be going there for rehoming and at least is safe unlike the fate of many others of this breed who are not so lucky. CJ

The chip company should have the details of the vet this dog was registered too. It might be worth trying to contact them in case the owner is still with them but under a new address

Caroline 28 - this is the same dog as ravenette found which is different from Bo. Jo I will be in contact.

What about looking on the electoral register as you have the name of the registered owner from the chip. Everyone over the age of 18 by law has to be on that register which would show their current address.

I found this:

LOST Slough.(no date given) 'Bo' Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross entire bitch, brown and White, 5 yrs old. no collar/chip.

I dont know if the 'no collar/chip' means no collar and no chip or no collar but there is a chip?!?!

Also, I’ll ask a DogLost helper who had her staffies stolen in May 2009 from Ilford (Bo is sadly not one of hers) incase she recalls reports/info of Bo being stolen around the same time as she did, and still does, a lot of searching…..never know!!
Jo - Area Co-ordinator, Essex
East Herts DW, could you email admin@doglost.co.uk with all the details from the chip - name, address etc, marking FAO Jo/Dee/CJ and we will have a search around.....we have had this sort of 'challenge' before and normally find something of help!!

Bo was found in Bishop's Stortford and the address on her chip is in Leyton. All phone numbers have been phoned, Police, Local Council and address on chip visited without any luck.

Bo, seems to be listed twice (going from the photo and info) see Dog ID 39226. In fact Sue of Doglost mentions this early on down below.
There is more info on the other page re where found. Hopefully they can amalgamate these two pages as this is the one that has been circualated on the internet via Facebook and twitter today and how I came to find out about her. Thank you.
Sue Green
I actually had a dog stolen in the South East round about this date. Is there any better pictures of her? Or does anyone known if there is a small scar on her side where she had a cyst removed ?
Stroodsue
yes I was thinking the same, whereabouts in the South east was Bo found please and where was she stolen from? thank you, it MUST be worth a couple of phone calls and emails to those numbers....???
Unknown
Could this be her?
Staffordshire Bull Terrier - bitch (entire)
Brindle. White diamond on back of her neck, white blaze down front of her neck. Greying around the mouth area. White paws. A scar on the front of her neck looks like a slash mark but due to old skin problem and hair does not grow there any more. Medium build. Long legged for a Staffie. 3-4 yrs old. Wearing a black collar with brass buckle.
Ran away 3/4/09 1-2 am Dereham, Norfolk

Admin - do you know which area she was stolen from in 2009?
DogLostreggiemollieros
Whereabouts was BO found please? I looked up the contact number and it is for a pound in Lincolnshire but says region South East. Of course where found is no indication of where stolen from but would help to know. I have put on twitter and am searching forums.
