- Thanks santas little helper. Pip is 10 yrs old and the one on SSPCA website is only 2-3 yrs old, so most likely not him. They do look alike though.

- Dog was actually stolen from Keith, but escaped from the police while he was being transferred to kennels at Brumley Brae.

- Yes...just spoken to owner and got the breed details in as well as verifying its scotland ...the dog was taken from the front garden ant disc removed and thrown back down...later Pip was handed into the police station and taken to kennels...where he escaped from the police car...possible sighting in the Inverness area recently...30 miles away but feasible for a Whippet in this time space. awaiting photo...have told owner that Linda who has so many contacts in that area will be in touch shortly and add details to lostdogs scotland.

- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
