We've had updates from owner. I've posted on Havoc's page this time because we found out that not all was actually well. Poor Havoc had a serious head injury, but is now well on the mend, I am very happy to report. Menace is a devoted pal. Thank you to Owl for your kind assistance and to the kind Co-ord who made one poster with them both on for me. I am putting a gorgeous reunited photo on shortly. x

They have been to vet. It's Weil's disease you are thinking of which is carried by rats, Lyme's disease is from ticks.
SanBarn
Glad they're both home safe and sound. They may have been used for ratting so a thorough vet check may be in order given the spread of Limes disease. Welcome home to both of you, stay safe. xx

Really happy to see these pair reunited. I bet their names suit them too. Hi Menace I have also got a metal plate in my leg; copycat! Stay safe now you pair:-)xxxx

I am so pleased too! Was worrying about these babies. Owner emailed me at work to let me know but I couldn't access site. It seems they came back by themselves but they have been upset by whatever happened to them. They are very quiet and subdued. They are clean, so not been down any holes; don't appear to be hungry (either that or they are too scared to eat the moment), Both are frightened and they smell of hay. Owner feels they have been shut in somewhere and mistreated. Family taking care of them with lots of TLC. I don't know that we will ever know what happened, but clearly something did. They may have escaped or they were made too to handle and let go. They are both back home, safe and well so that is a blessing and hopefully it won't be long before they are back to their old selves. Such good news. x

I am so pleased and relieved to hear that Menace and Havoc are back home where they belong. It has not been the weather with hail, thunder & lightening for them to be "out and about". Really great news and what fantastic names your borders have.

I managed to send out emails to owner this morning and have been texting back and forth. One of these little dogs belongs to a deaf child who is very distraught. Please can helpers assist along with our kind Border Girl below. Many thanks. x

I'm really sorry to hear that Menace and Havoc are missing. Did they go missing from East End Green or nearby? I will print off some posters and put a couple in window of my car. Try to put a poster up at Cole Green Pet/Garden Centre, and maybe on any notice boards in nearby Letty Green, Birch Green etc. Hope you have some news soon about them. I will keep checking on here and I will also try to spread the word about them being missing. The more people know, the more eyes can be looking for them. Stay positive - borders love to go rabbiting, but are also very good at retracing their steps and finding their way back to you.
