- Other Info Driving down very fast road, could see that the dog had been hit several times and was dead. Incident has been reported to police and Highways Emergency (Essex County Council)

- Basildon DW could not find the dog. May have been collected by Brentwood council or even an owner perhaps if they found him/her if went looking.

- Trying to get an update so that we can confirm this poor baby has been picked up and identified. I put a call into Basildon Council this morning who have confirmed they are aware and DW was on route to locate, Basildon have confirmed they do scan so lets hope the owners are found soon and this baby reunited. I will repost as soon as I know anything

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
