  • Other Info Slipped her lead in the car park at 4pm. Daisy is quite a timid dog who was wearing a pink collar. This is in quite a large wooded area with fields as well. Daisy has run off before when near home and has found her way back but this is about 4 miles from home. There are lots of people who are aware of her and are looking out for her. PLEASE call her owner if you have any sightings of her but please DO NOT try and chase her. Thank you.

Sighted in the park near her bed. We are hoping she spent the night in it.

We have come back from the park where we spent a couple of hours tracking. Nice fresh scent led us away from the car park, through a derelict farm, round the edge of a hayfield and out on to a cycle path. We followed this for a considerable way and ended up by the cricket club, then down past the village hall and on to the main road B5010 which goes past the entrance to the park. We went along this road only a short way before we crossed over and headed eastwards down a narrow road to join Ambaston Lane. After maybe a hindred yards, Wispa took us northwards up a farm track into a network of cornfields. She was getting mentally tired by now after 2 hrs work, so although she was getting air scent from Ambaston direction she was struggling to make sense of it and we called it a day. We would like to continue into the cornfields next time, but need to talk to whoever owns the land. But the hopeful news is that there was a sighting yesterday by a lady who lives near the village hall. She saw a tricolour beagle running loose by herself in the park. There were a number of beagles there with searchers but they were all on lead.

Spoke to owner, no sign of her yet. He was there last night with a BBQ but she didn't appear. Her home is in chaddeston, which is 4.5 miles away. She is on the Beagle website and there are followers on facebook. Just need to get sightings of her. Owner is still leaving her bed and food at the car park. Fingers crossed xx she is home soon.

Could I just ask roughly where her home is? Was wondering which direction she would be heading home. I am going to walk my dogs there now as it is very close to me. Will keep a good lookout.

Spoke to owner, they have put Daisy on the radio and have contacted the police, DW, rangers and have postered the car park area. I have advised they put it on the radio again and also to contact land owner and do a BBQ, although she is quite a fussy eater. She may return to the car park so owner has put her bed down and is leaving some food for her as well. Because it is such a vast area, she could be hiding anywhere. Maybe she may try and get home.
