I am so happy that Trudy is home and safe. Have been thinking about her all the time. I regularly walk my dog in this area and there are often these yobs down by the river, sometimes with their own 'Trophy' dogs, who they treat very badly. I never let my dog off the lead when they are about and go out of my way to avoid them. I was so worried about Trudy's safety and hoped nothing nasty had happened to her.

I hope she recovers well from her ordeal. Far, far worse because of her age.

Brilliant, brilliant news!!!! Trudy has been found, she has been sleeping in a field close by when a woman found her and contacted Lexi's owner (lab missing from Swaffham) thinking it could be her, Lexi's owner immediately thought of dear Trudy as the dog was described as elderly.
She is very thin but will be ok with some TLC. Her owner is over the moon to have her back home and so am I!!!
Welcome home Trudy xxx

Poor Trudy, I hope she's ok and someone has picked her up and is keeping her safe X

The owner was walking her 11yr old Black Lab called Trudy, down near the river, when a group of 'older' boys came along and started to taunt her dog. She tried to call Trudy back but once the boys heard her name they kept also calling Trudy and then chased her. Trudy has now been missing for almost a week and the poor owner is distraught.

The police have been notified, also the dog warden and local vets. I will add a similar photo to her page.

I am waiting for the owner to get back to me with an E-mail address so I can send further advice.
Please help to get Trudy back home xxx
