- Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

- TO MILLIE`S OWNERS. So sorry for your loss of Millie, at least she died doing the things she loved, and she has not gone from you forever; she is with you in spirit now. She died happy knowing you loved and cared for her, and you are able to lay her to rest. Night, night Millie, sleep tight, and watch over your heartbroken family who really need your strength at this time. Wear your Angel wings with pride, and when the time comes wait for your owners, so you can cross the bridge together: never to be parted. Play in the sunshine now sweet Millie, whilst God watches over you. Until you meet again.RIP+++ Sending your family loads of comforting ((((((HUGS)))))) and healing prayers for their sorrow. God Blessx

"I write this status in with tears rolling down my face, today Ollie and I found Millie in the woods, luckily the children were with their Grandma and so it was just myself and Ollie - she died instantly on the 23/5/12 while running with her best friend in her favourite place. We would like to thank every single member of the Find Millie Group for all your time and energy, without all of you we would have been lost...You have helped us through the hardest week and for that we cannot say thankyou enough. She will live on in our hearts and memories RIP Millie Northern we loved you so much xxx You were amazing" - 2012-06-01 23:04 vicky

- Hi there...we are much more active on the facebook group if you are on there please feel free to join :-)
So far there have been no confirmed sightings...my husband visited coxheath and Boughton Monchelsea area (Heath Road) and the gate that the black and white dog was extremely low (millie has a deep chest and so although she would be able to clear a five bar gate going under things is limited by her frame!!) We have postered in Maidstone and surrounding villlages. If you happen to be walking around the Linton Park, Coxheath and surrounding areas keep an eye open! No official reports etc. :-( - 2012-05-31 13:15 Sydney
- We are in Maidstone, if you have details of areas to search where she was last seen will be happy to go out over the coming days. She looks very much like my Lurchers sister... Hope Millie is found safely soon xxx

- Hi everyone, Millie's aunty here. Thanks for your help and posts. She's still missing and no sightings. Apparently it was not too far off the Strood entrance to the woods she was lost (near a tunnel). So if anyone could look around here we'd be most grateful. Posters have gone up around Cobham, Jeskyns, and the Mausoleum. Strood and Cuxton being postered tonight and tomorrow. She's quite a destinctive looking dog so I'm hoping someone will see her soon. There's a very loving family desperate for her return.
