Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

This is dreadful news! Never was keen on livestock farmers, now I'm even less keen. At least owners can get their little boy's body home, so wish he was still alive though. Why oh why can't farmers find another way? Not all farmers are like this, so why do some have to be? So very sad. Wish they'd use blanks as I'm sure that would have a result without loss of life. So very sorry for owners. Very sorry. God bless you little boy now safe in God's arms and God bless your loving owners. Till you are together again, watch over them sweetheart.xx

Sad news :( "Thank you to all who have posted/shared/bumped for Jake and his owner Melanie. It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that he has been found - not alive :-(. He's been shot dead by a farmer in Gwytherin. He's been brought home tonight to be buried in the garden where Mel shared so many happy memories with him. Melanie has aksed me to pass on her thanks she has been truly overwhelmed with the support. RIP little man xxx" Run free over the rainbow Jake xx

Jake has been sighted - Reported sighting around Pen Yr Efail crossroads which is the crossroads with Llanfair Road that leads to Bodelwyddan/St Asaph. Near ex council houses. It was between 12 and 1 am Thursday morning (24th May), the guy was on his way home from work he said they were in the layby and looked like they were playing

Here is an update so far. I've emailed and visited and phoned the rescue centres, spoken to both Denbighshire and Conwy wardens, phoned the police. Put posters up in Llanfair, Llansanan, llangenwy, betws yn rhos, gwetherin, and at as many junctions as possible. Posters are in both Abergele vets and tesco. They are in friends cars and my friend is putting them around old colwyn area. He will be in the daily post on Monday, then all the local papers on wed and thurs. He's on twitter and Facebook. Ive driven round lots of farms and spoken to farmers. I can't think of what else to do.
