Back online now and able to update properly. :)

It was FANTASTIC to get a reply from the email alert sent to Leigh the other night when we seen the match for Troy on their website. Leigh have only just launched their own website with pics of stray dogs in the kennels. I started sharing the link on facebook and had a look through the dogs and noticed the pic which looked like Troy and was also alerted to the match by other helpers cross checking.

THANK YOU LEIGH and everyone who has helped in the search for Troy and assisted in getting in touch with his owner who is obviously over the moon and family are so glad to have him back.

When visiting Leigh a few months ago was discussing with the Manager how helpful it would be if they had a site with pics of the dogs in the kennels. Seeing Troy reunited shows how it works and here is to more matches being made with checking the pics of dogs in Leigh kennels way to go. xxx

Sam the owner has been shown the picture, she is 99.9% certain this is Troy. I am hoping and praying it is him :)
The markings on his face are identical.

I've just started to volunteer at Manchester Dogs' Home (had a brief tour today) and there was a dog up for adoption that was a large white spotty staffy cross type. Didn't see if it was male or female, but would be worth checking.

Morning, there is a white (with black spots) staffy on here http://rescuecentral.webs.com/apps/photos/ named Sid - they take dogs from all over Lancs so worth a look just in case :-)

The found has been taken to Leigh Cats & Dog's Home, owner will be checking it out tomorrow. Fingers crossed it is Troy. Good luck. xxx

I spent all day sat in and around moses gate country park and walked through to radcliffe along the canal. There were no sign of troy. There was also a sighting at royal bolton hospital but my brother is a security there and checked the cameras but again saw nothing. I dont have a printer at the mo but I am willing to put up posters.

I've rang both the contact numbers. The first is Troys owner but no answer, the second is a neighbour who is helping with the search. I've given some advice of things to try and people to contact and the lady will let the owner know. I will try Troys owner again and send the email advice. The dog warden has been contacted and posters have been done today.
