- Phew, what a relief... these are 2 very special dogs and thank goodness a very good friend of the owner spotted them in a field. Barney is very yellow all down his back from the rape fields, and it might be this causing an allergic reaction to his eyes? Otherwise, they both seem exhausted, hungry and thirsty, but OK!!!

- Really pleased to report that both dogs have been found close to home, although Barney is now at the vets having been cut by barbed wire and in a bit of a mess, hopefully I will beable to update later

- I have spoken to the owner and Ruby went missing with Barney (i.d. 39873) yesterday when builders left the gate open. The Dog Warden, local vets, landowners and the gamekeeper have all been notified. The owner has been out postering the area.
