- Its a huge long shot and I hate sending anyone on shadow chase but....
This little one has been in rescue for the last 2 years having been taken out the pound after her 7 days....
Not all rescues scan, and not all dog wardens do (which is seriously scary!! I so wish the get scanning petition had worked as Best Practice isn't good enough)
Is there any chance this could be your baby? If you asked them they might be able to tell you or cross reference a chip number?
I really hate sending anyone on shadows but there are some very good pics and just please check its not her x

- Great news on Maisie and I don't think anyone on this site will ever give up looking for your other two dogs. Stay safe Maisie xx
- 2013-02-04 23:57 TrishBacon
- Our new girl Maisie is settling in very well..It's still hard to believe she's not our Lacey. She's a beautiful girl and is here to stay. They are so alike, both have a slight umbilical hernia and both have 9 nipples!! They look identical and do the same "tricks"!! We were absolutely convinced that Maisie was Lacey right up to the time that she came into season. Maisie has been checked over by the vet. She is under weight by about 8 kilos. She has antibiotics for her wounds and a special shampoo to help her coat. Despite all of this she is a wonderful little girl. We just want Lacey and Woozel home safe now. We wont give up looking!! xx
- 2013-02-04 01:10 BBKM
- At least this girl Maisie now has a happy loving home, god only knows what she has been through.....sad that Lacey and Woozel are still missing, fingers crossed they are both found safe soon xx
- 2013-02-03 18:57 ClaireC
- Lost for words really other than I hope it all turns out OK eventually. But I bet this girl is so very pleased to have landed on her paws to a kind and loving home. I doubt that she has ever been shown kindness before by the condition you had commented on.I'm sure she will reward you with loyalty and companionship xx
- 2013-02-03 17:47 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- Yes she will be getting checked by the vet. she was scanned several times over for a chip when they thought it was Lacey and could not find one.
- 2013-02-03 17:38 ClaireC
- Have to ask the same question as Shereen has? Will you be getting her vet checked and re-scanned?
- 2013-02-03 17:22 Unknown
- Glad she has a home but wonder where poor Lscey is?
- 2013-02-03 17:09 Shereen
- OH NO!!!! this cant be!....is this definitely a season....or other problems???
- 2013-02-03 16:45 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
- I have spoken to Lacey's owner regarding a match for her other dog Woozel.
I am having to put Lacey back into "lost" as the dog they thought was Lacey isn't! The owner's were convinced that this dog was Lacey as this dog was doing everything that Lacey does and has slotted back into the family BUT this dog has come into to season so is definiately not Lacey as Lacey is spayed!!
However "Maisie" as she is known will be staying with the family xx
The search continues for Lacey and Woozel. - 2013-02-01 23:05 skippy
- So please that Lacey has been found and is home safe after all this time. Bless her - it sounds like she's been through the wars. All crossed that Woozel is home soon too. Welcome home Lacey - stay safe and close now lovely girl. x

- 2013-01-24 18:14 AlisonH

- WHOOPS! Meanmt to say Deactivate, bot reactivate..
- 2013-01-24 13:09 Cxx8
- So pleased you have her back home where she belongs and fingers crossed Woozel will be joining her soon. Have you contacted the police about her injuries, just in case she was used as bait in dog fighting? Maybe they could look at CCTV and find out where she came from. I'm sure any information they have will help fight this disgusting "sport".
- 2013-01-24 11:42 Unknown
