Wish I had read this yesterday! I went all over in Wakefield all afternoon to see if I could see this dog anywhere but at least my dogs had a good day out in all the parks and glad this one has been found safe and well.

Brilliant news !Ryder has been found on pit stacks in Royston which are not that far from where he went missing. I had a feeling he would keep near to where he was lost and he isnt the first dog we have had missing locally that has hid up un the pit stacks ! So pleased and relieved he has been found safe and sound. x x x

The two were found together but that doesn't necessarily mean they were lost together, someone else could be looking for one. There were not far from J28 of the M62 which isn't very far from Wakefield at all.

I registered 2 dalmatians as found on here on Thursday evening, I think its likely that one of them is this one.

I have posted the link to my Facebook wall. I am unable to print posters but will look out for Ryder as this is not at all far from me.

Thanks Jayne !
Hopefully with local helpers who have received poster alerts aware and more people out and about over the bank holiday we will get some news of Ryder.
There have been more sightings or news of Ryder since the possible sighting of him in the car park at Newmillardam on Thursday.Last edited: 2012-06-02 11:01:06 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Thanks Pollyanna ! I understand it was actually 2 Dalmatians that were found together yesterday in Cleckheaton, Bradford but they then escaped from their finder. This is quite a way from where Ryder went missing but also as the report was of 2 Dalmatians I don't think it could of been him.Last edited: 2012-06-02 22:29:54 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Someone found a Dalmatian yesterday in the found section, Dog ID 39966, not good with geography I'm afraid, so could be completely out..

Have checked with Ryders minders and he was lost in the WF4 area but was sighted yesterday at Newmillardam in the WF2 area. He may be trying to make his way back to the Sandall area Of Wakefield where he had been staying .Last edited: 2012-06-01 13:22:31 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

I will speak again with his minders to clarify exactly which post code he was lost in as the post code I have been given is not the post code for the area nearby the kennels where he was first lost .will also ask if they have a photo of him but we may have to use a similar photo

This boy was with his minder when he was spooked by some horses and he ran off in the direction of Havercroft. He was wearing a collar and harness when he went off and may be trying to find his way back to the Sandall area where he has been staying with his minder. He was SIGHTED yesterday in the car park at Newmillardam . Hoping he is found
very soon . PLEASE LOOK OUT for this boy !!!Last edited: 2012-06-01 11:51:46 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
