Great news that Wlima is now home and well done minigiirl for all the help and advice you have given her owners ! It never ceases to amaze me how people find other peoples pets and then decide to keep or pass them on to others !!! It is a legal requirement that anyone finding a dog reports this to the dog warden ! How would they like it if someone did this to them and their pet ? Welcome home Wilma and Kit and please stay safe from now on xxx

Hi All Wilma and Kit are both home safe and sound.Wilma was passed on by the man who picked them up but when questioned initially denied all knowledge of there being 2.But when pressed by an outsider he said a lady in selby had her. We went to recover her on neutral ground and she's now been reunited with her sister and family. Thankyou for all your help We couldn't have recovered her without your support and advice Lou XX

The kennels who had Kit have know found a contact no. for the man who handed her in and who told the vets his friend from the Garforth area had the other beagle (Wilma). The kennels can't give his no. out to me but can give it to the police or dog warden on wed.....it's a long time until wed but at least we have a better lead. in between time if anyone see a tricoloured beagle around Garforth please please contact me.

If Wilma has been picked up for safekeeping she must be reported to the county Dog warden, as is required by LAW or handed to a vets where she can be reunited by her MICROCHIP. She has been flagged up as MISSING.
There is a CASH reward for her safe return.Last edited: 2012-06-03 23:13:28 by Minigirl - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire

So sorry to hear your girl is still missing. Please do look up beaglesUk on FB as there is a great community of beagle owners who have in recent weeks along with Doglost helped reunite missing beagles. Will share this page on FB and Twitter x

Wilma went missing with the other family beagle, Kit yesterday at 4pm. Kit was picked up for safe keeping by someone at around 8pm last night and handed to stray kennels today.
There have been no reported sightings of Wilma.
Owner has reported her missing to Microchip company and has the number for the stray kennels and will continue to ring them daily.
Owner has telephoned Leed's Dogs Trust and will contact local vets.
Advised on postering the area and scenting information emailed.
Hoping for some news of this much loved girl soon

Wilma was one of our 2 beagles that went missing at 4pm on the 2nd June. They are never apart. Kit the found beagle was picked at the roundabout at Junction47 of the M1,up by a man who was visiting a friend in Garforth . He took Kit back to Selby where he lived then the next day 03/06/12 he rang the dog warden and dropped her off with them in Barnsley. No contact details were left and I would love to speak to him to see if he saw anything of Wilma. Wilma is a perfect looking beagle who is quite timid, they both live outside do are not house trained. She is a much loved member of the family any sightings of her would be greatly appreciated.
