- Other Info Gwem went missing from the owners small holding. There is a footpath that goes through the land and then that leads to a car park. Gwen is 13 months old and is epileptic. She needs her medication twice daily, without this she is prone to fits. She is registered at Minster Vets, Southwell. PLEASE keep a look out for her as her owner is worried about her. Thank you.

- Sorry we couldn't take the trail further today, Wispa can't work for more than 1 1/2 to 2 hrs per session and stay accurate.

- Hi Penny, unless someone has said they actually saw someone pick Gwen up, I wouldn't believe what people say. If a dog goes missing, everyone will tell you that the dog must have been stolen. There are acres of woodlands where she could be, and there weren't many people around there today. She may well be trying to get back home and got on the wrong side of stock fencing. According to Wispa's nose, Gwen made her way to the public footpath not directly from your house but further up through the woods, and then followed it all the way to South Lodge, through the gate and on towards Papplewick, wandering into the edges of fields on the way. Although there was a spell of torrential rain this afternoon, Wispa was able to work from air scent until she found patches of ground scent stuck to the underside of vegetation. She seemed very certain about the route down to South Lodge. I don't think Gwen had been put on lead by anybody as she was nipping into fields. It's a pity about the extreme weather as the scent was so fresh, only 24 hours old, and normally it would be much easier to follow.

- Hi, Gwen is my parents dog. We miss her terribly and have been searching and putting up posters for her all day. It seems from what we have found out from talking to people locally that she may have been taken either as a presumed stray or stolen. We currently have a facebook share circulating, if you could take the time to pass it on it would be greatly appreciated. Much thanks to everyone at doglost xox https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151024780580090&l=794c5bfe18

- Spoke to owner. She has contacted local vets and the chip comnpany. She will contact DW tomorrow. I have advised her to put ads on certain sites and to contact the local radio, especially as Gwen is epileptic. She needs to poster the car park (just in case) because Gwen would get into a car.
