Thank you migman34, you are a star for helping this boy and all the others, its good to know people like you are there, we would be lost without you :) Have just had a message from the owners son and we are pretty sure it is Luka. Have told them to ring the Animal Wardens nice and early and hopefully catch him before he gets taken to Manchester Dogs Home. I will reunite him as soon as I have confirmation xx

Thanks migman but we think we may have found his owner via facebook. vikki, Cleo's owner (dog ID 33888) lives locally and posted his photo on her FB page, someone is desperately looking for him. We think his name is Luka, they will be ringing the Animal Wardens first thing, will keep you all posted - fingers crossed.

I've been thinking the same thing Jo I groomed a mally not long ago and that is what struck me, width of the head but there is no option to put husky/mal on the drop down box. I'm thinking most mally owners would search under husky too, but would most husky owners search under malamute?? x

..he looks mally to me, Jackalee. Typical mally mask and broad head...a lovely boy and looks well healthy! such a shame he's not chipped. May be wise though to change breed to husky/mally as some owners are actually confused as to what breed they actually own..do hope he's claimed very soon :) x

Photo to follow but having a little trouble downloading at the moment.

Could be a malamute, not that well up on these breeds but feel free to correct me when I manage to get the photo uploaded.Last edited: 2012-06-06 20:04:17 by Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
