I have been following it up today and speaking to kennels and owner, there has been a few problems which I've sorted and owner is on the way to the kennels to pick Spike up. Spike is already CHIPPED to previous owner and details will need to be updated. Will move him into the BLUE a.s.a.p. when it has been confirmed he has been reunited. :) x

Had a message from owner, Spike is in Leigh Cats & Dog's Home and will be getting picked up tomorrow. So pleased to get this news and will move him into the BLUE tomorrow when it has been confirmed he is HOME. xxx

Looked out for Spike at RSPCA today but he was not there :( a similar dog was but different face markings. Will keep looking xx

Team Ben helper MojoPeanut is going to call into Halewood RSPCA tomorrow and check the found ESS out and also see if there are any other DogLost matches in there.

MojoPeanut, not heard back from owner as of yet, I did leave my mobile number but do know they would be in work. :(

I rang the RSPCA this morning and they said owner had been in touch by phone, the collar on the found is a collar and Spike was wearing a flea collar same colour. Not sure if owner has actually called in to check the found one but don't think they were going to. I won't be able to go until the weekend myself due to work, RSPCA is well closed by time I finish.

Friend of owner posted Spike's photo on my fb page last night. Asked them to ask owner to register him on DL but they had problems registering the details.

I've spoken to Halewood RSPCA this afternoon and they have a found Springer, which I think could be the one registered on the AW site. Have spoken to owner now and given him details, he will follow it up tomorrow and if it is Spike I've advised they get him CHIPPED before leaving the kennels.

The other kennels he could be taken to if found is Leigh Cats & Dog's Home or possible Cheshire Dog's Home.

Info/Advice emailed to owner in case it is not Spike, keeping everything crossed it is and we see him in the BLUE tomorrow. Good luck. x
