- WOW! Brilliant News!! I chased this dog around Lostwithiel over 10 times trying to get hold of it somehow, even with just finding out that there is a £100 reward wouldn't of made me catch up with her. SO FAST! But so glad to here she is back safe. No more running around at 2 in the morning for me :P Where was she picked up from? Because she was living in St Georges Field in Lostwithiel for about a month and I was always taking bowls of water and buying doggy treats for her and then seeing them gone the next day xD Great to hear! Made my day x

- I have just read on fb that quite a few people have seen Honey recently and that owner has been informed. Heart breaking that she is still out there alone, surely the Dog Warden must be aware and helping? xxx

- Ive heard on a facebook group that there have been several sightings in loswithial. Can you update us all please. You need to try to spread the word on new sightings ASAP to get maximum support and follow up sightings. Will try to help spread the word but can't do it without info x

- 2012-07-16 21:29 Unknown
- Hy Robyn can you go onto lost and found animals in cornwall on face book as there is someone in the Lostwitheil area helping you it would be good if you can get out there with her.
- 2012-07-16 13:19 Unknown
- Thanks jimjams hope she soon gets caught or even if she has a regualr area there the owner can get a dog trap out there.

- There has been new sighting of Honey at Lostwithiel.......if anyone is in the area can we get some posters out there please.x
- 2012-07-13 19:38 Unknown
- You need to contact Cory and the railway lines to see if any body has been found.....I know its not nice but it does eleminate anything untold...then you can focus on postering..renew all contacts with vets, DW ,all rescues in areas etc....further afield also as she may have now gone on different routes.Get hold of the West Briton and Cornishman and see if they can do an article on Honey....xx
- 2012-07-13 16:27 robyng
- there has been no news at all please keep eyes on and pas the word on
- 2012-07-11 20:05 Unknown
- Thinking the same thing Skippy......I know its not nice but have you been in touch with the railways to see if they have seen her at all?
- 2012-07-08 16:16 skippy
- any news on Honey?
- 2012-07-05 19:44 Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London
- I am glad to hear the dog wardens are helping in trying to catch her. Have you contacted the rescue she came from as they may be able to assist maybe they had to catch her to take her into rescue to begin with. Really hoping she stays away from the railway and hoping she is soon home. Julie x
- 2012-07-05 13:34 Unknown
- Good to hear from you Robynne,Is there any possiblity you can use a trap?Have you spoken to the RSPCA they maybe able to help.At least you are having positive sightings.
- 2012-07-05 11:17 robyng
- hi thanks ive been out looking soon as i heard about her being there but could not see anything no one can get close enough to catch her the dog wardens are following her but she is so nervous that soon as u speak or look at her or move closer she runs i tries to keep her in one area with a lovely couple in trewoon but she just didnt stay soon as she had som food over night she got engery to move on and on she went thankyou to everyone for helping this is getting me tired and stressed however all i can do is go look hope i see her and just jump on her i spose now
- 2012-07-05 06:21 Unknown
- Hy Julie, yes I think she is a rescue and they had only had her for a few months.....and is a very nervous dog as most Shepherds tend to be.My main concern is the longer she is free the more feral she will become...I was hoping Robyn would come on here and keep us updated. While I am not so far away as you it is still a far old trek without no positive sightings and as you say the railways are a real worry.I will text when I get home from work and see if there is any further devolopment...x
- 2012-07-04 22:53 Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London
- Hi Jenny4 I am in East Sussex so no hope on the ground whatsoever but just so worried I will try and email RSPCA etc. but didn't want to go ahead without owner's permission and was hoping her owner would let me know if she wanted me to assist in this way. Do you know the circumstances of her getting away from her owner was she scared ? Is she a rescue dog ? So many are lost on the awful railways which is why I have commented on here. If I don't hear anything will try a text tomorrow but am working all day. Just trying to think what can be done really. Julie x
- 2012-07-04 21:50 Unknown
- Hy Julie. sadly I am too far west to be of any assistance but would it be possible for you to text Robyn and offer your help as it seems we have not heard much for a few days and Like you am now very concerned for Honey, the tracks are a death trap,
The RSPCA are in St.Austell you could try them. - 2012-07-04 21:33 Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London
- Is there no one in the local area that can help with retrieving this dog - have any of the rescue centres been asked to lend a hand I am sure there must be someone around to help. I know it is difficult when you don't know where she is but efforts need to be made to keep her in the same area by leaving food, scenting etc. I am particularly worried due to the sighting yesterday of her running onto the railway track. Would you like me to try and contact German Shepherd Rescue to see if they will assist ? Julie
- 2012-07-03 21:29 Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London
- Could I respectfully suggest Michelle sends a text to owner on the above number so they could maybe suggest a way forward to help this poor dog. I am so fearful of an accident happening. Julie x
- 2012-07-03 21:04 Unknown
- I too am now concerned about the railway line.....has anyone heard from Robyn at all?Has she spotted Honey at all?
The offer of help will be great if the owner comes forward and asks for it......hope you hear soon Michelle. - 2012-07-03 20:10 Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London
- I am too far away to be of any help but very worried about this dog and the awful railway. Can RSPCA, Dog Warden, local rescue help out she needs to be caught ASAP. I see you have kindly offered help Michelle I do hope the owner contacts you quickly so a plan can be put in place. Hoping for good news when I next log on. Julie x

Everyone please share on your status. Seen whilst exercising dogs in Coulson Park a beautiful German Shepherd running scared and looking lost, it jumped onto the railway track. After trying to contact British transport police who only had a machine for messages and the police who don't deal with dogs, the council are c...losed so it seems no help is forthcoming to try and find where it's gone! so if anyone knows of a missing german shepherd it was last seen on the railway track racing towards the station!!!! Really fearful for it's safety and helpless as it was so fast and looked very frightened
Have offered some helful advice and the loan of my trap. Please feel free to contact me 07751 208298. Michelle - 2012-07-01 14:35 Unknown
- Any more sighting Robynne?
- 2012-06-29 17:29 Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
- That's great new robyng!! Is there anywhere at Sandy Lane where you can set up a feeding station for her? If you see her again try to avoid eye contact and just sit on the ground singing or whimpering softly to get her curiosity. It might take a few goes to gain her trust though. Good luck xx
- 2012-06-29 13:58 robyng
- i ssen her at sandy lane yesterday she is looking fine tho very scared as she looked at me for ages as if to say i know who you are but then she got up looked and ran please please pass the word on that she is in this area

- 2012-06-25 20:18 Unknown
- Good news with the sightings Robyn, get loads of poster all around the new surrounding area......she might be drawn to the childrens voices, so maybe get up there before and after school.......see if DW can get hold of some dog traps for Sandy lane, or even get hold of the RSPCA and see if they can help , aafter all the are in the St.Austell area. xx

- 2012-06-22 19:48 Unknown
- Hows it going?
- 2012-06-20 13:21 Unknown
- Think maybe you will have to go out late at night and see if you get a sighting as mostly she is very early or late......
- 2012-06-20 13:04 robyng
- she was last seen on the 19th june early hours at tywardreath
- 2012-06-18 19:01 Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
- Could she have made a den in the churchyard she was seen near? Dogs on the loose tend to hole up somewhere quiet, away from humans, traffic, etc and in the main venture out at dawn and dusk when it's quiet. Have a good look around the churchyard to see if there's any flattened grass anywhere, or dog hair caught on bushes. She's absolutely gorgeous - hope she's reunited with you soon xx
- 2012-06-18 14:41 Unknown
- Get hold of the RSPCA at St.Austell they may have a dog trap and once you can get a firmer sighting you can use it.Also get hold of the dog warden again and ask why they arnt helping you like they said they would xAt least she isnt too far away ...
- 2012-06-18 14:04 robyng

- 2012-06-10 14:39 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- Rogyng, did you receive my email with the scenting and plotting instructions, if not I will send again. You need to mark on a map each time there is a sighting so that we can hopefully work out where she will be heading. Can you get posters up in St Stevens area? I do not live locally so do not know where to sugest but a lost dog usually makes it's way back to where it was last with you. Let's hope there are more sightings soon.
