Just spoken at length to Molly's owner. She now knows where Molly is and the police are aware but it is being deemed as a civil matter. Will move Molly over to reunited and will update her page if the matter is resolved.

Although our boy was not stolen, you may find some tips on how to make your dog" too hot too handle" It's very hard to hide a Irish Wolfhound, people tend to notice them ... http://www.heliodorhounds.co.uk/journal-irish-wolfhounds/2012/4/30/the-hunt-for-a-missing-irish-wolfhound.html

The dog wandering around woodlands yesterday was a bedlington terrier and do believe he has now gone home. Molly is a gorgeous Irish Wolfhound stolen from Gainsborough in Lincolnshire, have seen posting s to say she could possibly be in the Doncaster area. Hope she is found soon x

I've shared this Lost Dog on a number of wolfhound Facebook groups. What else can we do to help the owner? Also can you clarify the area where the dog is missing from please?
Alfies mum
it might be worth the owners ringing trax fm or going on their web site as they advertise missing dogs on the radio x

Owner does not have a printer so if there are any local helpers who could print off a few posters it would be nmost helpful.

Postcode confirmed as DN21. Just spoken to owner. Molly was locked in a secure garden while owner was attending a funeral in Rotherham. A neighbour was regularly checking on Molly but the last time he went back the gate ties had been cut and Molly was missing. She is a rescue dog and for the first year of her life she never left the kennels so is now very timid. Believed to have been stolen between 12:30 and 1:30. Owner has contacted the police and is waiting for them to call back. I have given her the number for Lincs FM and hopefully they will put out an appeal for her. There have been a lot of scrap metal dealers around the area.

Will contact owner for photo and offer advice.
