So lucky that farmer didn't shoot him! (as one in the Tenbury Wells area in Worcestershire certainly does!) So lucky to get him back. I bet you never forget the stress those 4 missing days caused you! Sleep well Eric!

Sounds like he was a lucky boy to come across a farmer who had the patience to catch him. Thank you Mr farmer, I wish there were more like you!!

We're so happy, we can't thank you all enough for your help and support especially Liz and Sue for giving me hope. He was chasing the cows and the farmer in Warkton saw him and managed to catch him with the help of his Collie. He had made a nest for himself in the hedge. He had chewed off his harness and lead but still had his collar with details on. He ate 3 bowls of food and drank 3 bowls of water bless him and he is shattered, fast asleep in his bed like the picture above. Big licks from Eric. xx

Email sent to owner re an ad in Gumtree

Hi np, of course you can't give up on him, no one here is suggesting that you should. A husky will cover a lot of ground so get those posters out far and wide. Try to get him on local radio, put ad in local paper, get him on Gumtree and any other local sites. He is probably still out there running around so major publicity is the way forward. Check out husky groups on the net including as there may well be husky owners in the area who will help search and poster. Poster filling stations, shops, taxi firms, garden centres, walkers groups, and riding stables as riders get a good view of the countryside.

I have visited Forest lodge and other re homing places but will keep going and ringing. I will ring all other councils today and keep searching. I can't give up on him as he is sorely missed and we feel terrible about loosing him. I just feel so sorry for him out there and i hope if anyone takes him in that they do the right thing and return him.

I live locally & have not seen him, shared on Facebook. Suggest you bombard Forest Lodge with calls, & also visit as I know they often say they don't have a dog fitting the description & dog is there all along. You must be feeling devastated, good luck.

np if someone has found him over the weekend they may not try to contact warden until tomorrow. Phone Forest Lodge Kennels tomorrow morning and in the afternoon when they have had time log the new dogs.Last edited: 2012-06-11 08:49:03 by B30

Eric is still missing, we have done everything we know to find him. He may have chewed his lead off if he got stuck somewhere. He may have also been stolen? If someone has taken him in i hope they return him asap as he is very much loved and cared for.

Info and Advice sheet sent.

Spoke to owner, she has contacted, DW, local vets, microchipping company. She has postered and has checked the local fields. Owners do not live in the immediate area he went missing from. They are checking up a possible lead at the moment. I have advised certain sites and also to try local radio and to contact Network Rail, as there is the track that runs through Kettering.

Also Eric will be 6 months old on Tuesday so he needs to come home to be properly cared for.

Hi everyone,

This gorgeous pup is mine and i would be so grateful to have him returned as he is very much loved and cared for. He may be frightened if approached but he will not be agressive or bite. My husband fell over and dropped his lead whilst walking him and he just bolted, last to be seen in the ise lodge, kettering area. He could be caught up in a hedge somewhere as he still has his lead and harness attached. He should still be wearing his collar too with his details and my phone number. Please help us find him.
