- He has been FOUND!!!!! thank Goodness for his microchip... he was taken into Beaumont and had strayed for 4 miles :( he has sore paws but is very happy to be home xxx

- Motley is a very rare breed in this country but could easily be mistaken for a Greyhound/Lurcher type by those who don't know the Mediterranean sighthound types so please make sure that you supply local rescues and vets with a photo and visit them to see whether he is there. Though he is chipped, on some extremely rare occasions, a chip can move and become undetectable.
Notify Battersea Dogs Home, the PDSA and Celia Hammon Trust (their New Cross/Lee branches are the most local to you) as well as your local RSPCA branch (Putney and Islington), Blue Cross (Victoria) and the Royal Veterinary College kennels (Beaumont Animal Hospital, NW1).
