no need to look for my dog nomor as the police have just rang me on my house phone and told us he was in huntington at the car dealership so we drove down and 3 police cars were slowly bringing him down the road so we now have him back home where he belongs :D

Posters john - that's the key. You have just one pair of eyes - even with your family and friends you have a few handfuls of eyes. Every poster you can put up where other dog walkers will see them will be seen by dozens of sympathetic eyes.

I am still hoping that someone will have picked him up and will either drop him off with their vet in the morning for scanning, or give the dog warden a call. Fingers crossed.

he was coming up past pets at home and past the twirl of hay over the rounder bout and on to the canal from there been out looking but i cant find him myself :( just hoping he is safe somewhere near by on his way back home

Hi John - just to check that I understood right when we were talking earlier. The police spotted him in Caldy Valley Road yesterday afternoon, and tried to catch him. He ran back up Caldy Valley Road towards the Sainsburys roundabout and got onto the canal from there. I have assumed that he got onto the canal where it crosses under the A41...am I right? I started wondering after I came of the phone if he gave them a bit more of a run-around and he'd come back into town a bit further.

Anyway, I walked from hoole out along the canal from Hoole Lane, past the A41 as far as the next set of locks, then came back down Pearl Lane, through the bottom part of Vicars Cross and back into Hoole at Hoole Lane again.

Really wished I had posters with me to put up on the way, but will probably have some time to do the same again tomorrow evening if he's not home by then.

Hope he's home soon.

went missing from pine grove was seen yesterday heading back towards vicars cross before the police chased him and he then headed down the canal out running the police as they did try to catch him but they just couldn't catch him

tryed barra kennels and acorn kennels the past two days and today but they still dont have him police have not had any more sighting of him ether :(

Any more details of where in CH2 Rex went missing. I am in CH2, but quite a big postcode area.
