After speaking with a friend of the owners I can confirm that these dogs were stolen from near Howden East Yorkshire. The postcode for this area is DN14. Last seen with two men in a Red Nissan Cabstar. They could be anywhere in the country by now but are both chipped. Please look out for any new Border Terriers in your area and have a chat with the owners.

Sorry Jayne. Am I confusing the issue, don't mean to. The thing is Skelton, North of York is in NORTH Yorkshire and the postcode is YO30. As I said I don't know of any Howden in that area with that postcode. Howden (the only one I know) is in EAST Yorkshire but we are talking of quite a distance of about 30 miles between the two and they have a completely different post code. We are talking of two completely different areas. If these dogs are missing from near York that's my area. I'll happily poster anyway but this Howden business is confusing - can we check the reference to Howden with the owners?

Can you please clarify why the refrence to Howden? The Howden familiar to most people is in WEST Yorkshire. I don't know of a Howden in the YO30 area. If it's incorrect seeing Howden on the posters will make people round here think the dog is stolen from the Leeds/West Yorks Area which is further away. Will poster ASAP - Val

Which Skelton - are we talking about Skelton just slightly north of York - if so not far from me. I know it says Skelton, Howden but you've got a YO30 postcode which is usualy nearer York. - Val
