- Thank you for the email Reynard and for contacting owner again. It seems TJ turned up at a local house this morning, finders were then able to ontact the sanctuary. I hope he settles this time and soon finds a new home.

- Sorry to message again, but just thought, should/has Network Rail been informed? There are train lines that run to the north and south of Grittenham. If he does wander through Great Wood for shelter he may get close to the southern line, although I do hope that won't be the case.

- I'm in Lyneham so can go out postering tomorrow if it hasn't already been done in the surrounding areas? I'll have a search around for him and keep an eye out. Really hope this little guy's found. Could there be a chance that he may have tried to find his way "home" ie. back to his previous owners that gave him in to be re-homed?

- It is extremely close to tne M4 - my parents live other side of the motorway as the crow flies, so are also keeping their eyes open. It's quite a rural area though with lots of open spaces and barns etc.
- 2012-06-17 16:52 Paula Marie
- Have owners been contacted by Sanctuary to provide a photo of TJ. Also wondered if transport police have been contacted as the area looks very close to M4.
Praying TJ is found safe and lots of love and care in his future. Foster room for springer paws here x. - 2012-06-16 21:58 Reynard
- Thanks mingirl & Owl glad things are getting sorted,,,just hope TJ will soon be found the weather is disgusting poor lad x

- I am thinking, if this sanctuary feels one springer looks like another and also believes his chip will easily get him home, I have to ask, how they can be certain he was not stolen?
- 2012-06-16 17:33 pam4eq
- I have flagged this up with both Swindon and District Animal Haven (Brinkworth) and the Brinkworth Boarding Kennels (as they now have the contract to take in the strays locally from the dog wardens).

- The Springer found in Basildon looks like he has been to the groomers quite recently, I have asked the DW for confirmation as it may help rule in or out him being TJ although it does say not chipped ref 40395

- thanks Reynard-have spoken to the sanctuary again to see if there any updates and if the previous owner has flagged TJ up as missing with the microchip company and checked that contact details are up to date.
sadly there is still no news on TJ and no sightings have been reported.
They feel he has escaped rather has been taken though can't understand how he managed to get out. Advised them to report to local police if they thought that he had been stolen but they don't think this is the case.
I offered to take the number of the previous owners to contact them too- the sanctuary said that they will do it.
They feel they are doing all they can to try and find him- have urged them to poster the area in case anyone does see him.
hoping there is news on this boy soon

- I have just spoken with minigirl. She is helper not owner and was minding the Doglost phones when the call came in, and has since spoken with owner. She will be checking this page later and updating with any more info she can get from owner.

- TJ is chipped so if he is scanned they will hopefully be abe to get in touch, however TJ was given away to be re-homed and I think the Rescue did not have the full facts about him. I just think it was not understood we are here to help ,they obviously want to find him as why bother to put him on doglost and 'minigirl' must have a PC so hoping they will look back here at some point,in the meantime I will have a chat with a Dog Warden I know. - Thank you Reynard for contacting the sanctuary that this poor boy is missing from, I am uploading a similar photo, not that will be much help if we don't know his markings, Appaling that they just said "one Springer looks like any other". Let's hope his chip does the job!!!

- I called tried to offer advise, this is a dog sanctuary & the lady seems to think he will be found via his chip, they dont have a computer so unable to print a poster off & any how "one Springer looks like any other" ,,,,I did try to explain if we have a photo she or anyone else would be able to down load a poster from this site and start postering as someone may have seen him , the poor dog is/was a nervous wreck and they had no idea how he got out ,,,,,so may help if admin can upload a similair Springer photo for the poster and hopefully helpers in the area can help with the postering. I have forwarded to Vets and DWs Bath Dogs & Cats Home.
