- Requests to put Mazzie's picture in newspapers have gone out today, we've tried to cover most local S.E papers, just hope it works now

- Thank you:-) We’ve still had no sightings, I live in Wakefield which is an awfully long way away, but last night we had thunder…I don’t know if you’ve had the same down there, but Mazzie (like most dogs) really hates the thunder, I just hope it didn’t scare her back into hiding again.
My Aunt has refreshed posters due to the rain, and put out an announcement at a Solstice gathering being held near where Mazzie was lost. Some hounds have also been out with the scent from some items sent from home. I’ve not heard how that went yet.
Next job is to get an ad in the local papers. Can anyone advise which the best might be for the Berkshire area?

- Hello, I’m the daughter of the family missing Mazzie. Mazzie is still missing and we’ve had no news since Saturday 16th (when she was first lost), so I just wanted to post some of the things we’ve been doing to try and find her.
First to note is that none of my immediate family are from the area she was lost, we all live in the North and have needed to return home, however my Aunt lives in the village she was lost from and it’s a relief to know there’s someone there she can try to return to.
My Aunt has postered widely by hand, and my brother has sent emails to post offices and libraries in the surrounding area for them to put up.
I’ve heard that lovely people in the area are still looking for Mazzie when they are out, and my Aunt has done her best to tell people when she sees them out and about and walking their dogs.
We’ve contacted schools, rescue homes, farm watch, the Berkshire Ramblers association and the dog warden for Berkshire. We’ve checked and double checked the details on the missing dog register.
Her bed and other bits remain outside and my mum has sent a package with familiar smelling items from our house so a scent trail of sorts can be created.
We have heard that being a terrier, Mazzie might have found somewhere quiet to base herself, and that she may just stay there for a few days even before emerging and deciding what to do next. She may still be scared though and might bark but a biscuit or food of any sort will make her happy.
If any of the people looking for Mazzie in the Berkshire area see this, I want to say a huge thank you for everything you’ve been doing, I’m so sure we’ll find her and I can’t wait because she’s so important to our family:-)
