The pound have been fantastic and waived all fees associated with the Stella Bella. The family returned from holiday on Thursday and went straight to kennels. They then went and fetched the new dog and did an introduction with early indications being good. Stella Bella has gone home with them!!!! We have offered full back up on this in case there are any issues but I am told things seem to be going OK. THE POWER OF THE CHIP AGAIN!!

Fingers crossed for their meeting Thursday, it will be so sad for all concerned if they don't get on

I have just spoken to the owner direct who returns from holiday on Thursday. Stella was stolen in January 2011 so has been missing for a very long time. They are doing an introduction with their new dog on Thursday and if all goes according to plan, Stella will be finally reunited with her owners after 17 months of being a part. PLEASE MICROCHIP YOUR DOG!

Fabulous news! Soooo why can't all veterinary surgeries scan all dogs - more babies would be brought home sooner.

Owner has been located and is currently on holiday abroad. Stella was STOLEN in January and they have not had any news of her until now. The son who was at the house is in a state of shock/excitement and is trying to advise his Mum. Hopefully this one can go to the blue very soon :)
