- 2012-06-29 17:50 meadowbankles:
- Is there any news on Bonnie yet? I've just tried to catch an obviously stray female jack Russell, wearing a collar, but she was terrified and wouldn't come to me, this was by the Bacca shop in Atherton. I tried following in my car, but sadly she disappeared.
- 2012-06-28 11:31 Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
- I have sent a message to Tom to check both these dogs out - although probably the same dog like skippy mentioned.
The Animal Wardens don't really do photographs and I think he may be waiting forever, best to find out where this/these dogs are and go check for himself, fingers crossed. - 2012-06-26 20:50 skippy
- Hi Michelle - did you mention this second reference number to follow up too?

- Our dog went missing just a street away from Bolton Road. We got him back but it took 9 days of very hard work. He was found all the way over in Swinton, so would recommend these tips:
- He was found by a local take-away delivery guy, wheer we had placed a poster. Postmen, delivery guys etc anyone who goes around the area let them know
- Don't discount any area. We went to over 1000 houses and didn't go in the direction he was found in!!! Put posters everywhere in 2 mile radius in every direction
- Use dog owners. We had so many lovely people contact us to say they were looking out for him when we put posters in vets and parks (I know how horrible this is...we have put a poster in our window)
- Don't give up!!!
I hope you find her safe and sound, All the Best Nikki - 2012-06-22 20:44 scootjockey
- Tom I really hope you get this little Lass home quickley. If your instincts are right and she has been taken in id consider it a positive because of the location shes lost from its far to busy a place for her to be roaming those slip Rds from M6/and East Lancs concern me they are so so heavily used in and out of Manchester does bolton rd run parallel to Motorways ?Is Bonnie a freindly dog and a people lover? if so would she hop into a car with new freinds? would be close to the shops if so you may want to ask she shop keepers for anything picked up on their camera`s or any other camera`s. Did you ever find out where she got to when she was AWOL the previos times. All the best Tom x

- Sorry to see that BONNIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (40466)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
