- Other Info Red went missing next to Blurton High School/Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy, when he dug his way out of the garden. He got out once before but was only out for a short time. He is very friendly and quite silly. He will let you approach and allow you to stroke him but do not chase, as being a whippet, he will run from you like it is a game. PLEASE call us with any sightings. Thank you.

- hi there has been a sighting of a whippet fitting reds description, on the 25th june, we checked this out and the dog is a female, owner was found and informed, hopefully she should now be back home, pls keep ure eyes and ears open still, i need my pet home x ty

- Can I really urge the owner to get an ad in the Sentinel asap - this really does work, as proven with Border Collie Kirby, happily reunited in ST1 yesterday! Just a small ad brought her back home - someone had taken her in and was taking good care of her, and scouring the Sentinel each day to see if anyone had lost her. So very much worth a try!

- Spoke to owner, DW has been informed, local vets, posters have been put up, local radio has been contacted. I have suggested local paper and sites on the internet. Local pound has been contacted.
