Norfolk Terrier Club of GB have been in contact with admin and we have put them in touch with the dog warden handling the case

Nolfolk Terrier welfare should be notified of this little boy.They have a welfare officer for the breed. I own a Norwich Terrier and along with the Norfolk we are a protected breed. We are small in numbers so the breed welfare officer should be able to track down the breeder.

When I telephoned the other number I was given the number for Winchester dog wardens and was told that some others have also expressed an interest in this little chap if he is not claimed.So it looks like he will have a good chance of a new home if not claimed. :-)

Any point in connecting NT club - they may be able to trace litters of around this little one's age - may not be a local breeder but may be abel to provide some information or a lead. xx

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
