I received info of a blue merle type dog no collar on the 4th jan in the Cornwall area. It was spotted at the following location: B3033 between Nancegollen and Praze an Beeble on the Drym junction in Cornwall
It was scavenging and appeared friendly but very timid. It was unable to be caught I have contacted dog warden and there is no known dog with this description been reported missing. If Gem was stolen then there is a possibility. Just thought I'd let you know just in case

****Updated to add**** Email back from holding kennels confirmed that this found dog isn't Gem.

Pembrokeshire Dog warden have a young Blue Merle collie listed as found yesterday in Haverfordwest - dog ref 561. No photo yet on site, but I have emailed them to ask them to check if this might be Gem.

Many thanks to everyone for all their help and support. Got really excited as a dog sounding just like Gem was picked up in Exeter a couple of weeks ago- many thanks to wendy the dog warden for phoning us. Sadly, dog was rehomed before we got the message, but I gather it was not her. Huge excitement then disappointment, but thank you anyway!

Any news on this beautiful girl. She reminds me very much of my blue merle border collie cross, Gemma, that I had until she was 15. Hope she is reunited soon.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
